If Launch Fails

If Halo 5 launches and is dysfunctional for whatever reason, will you still play Halo? Will you buy the next Halo game? Will you buy the next Xbox console? I’m curious about this because I feel like Microsoft has all their chips on the table with this one due to MCC and so I imagine they are working extra hard to make sure its flawless. I guess my real question is how much is riding on a successful launch of Halo 5?

What if a Guardian comes up from the ground while I’m waiting at Gamestop? That may have an impact on whether or not I keep playing Halo.

It’ll make me be hesitant to buy any next console as the PS4 hasn’t been without issues. As for the next Halo, it might make me reluctant to pre-order but I’ll probably still get it

Unlike Destiny I’ll probably hang in there. Well unless they pull a Sonic the hedgehog on us and drag it through the mud

Probably not, after MCC I rarely even touch my Xbox One so I can’t see myself throwing away another $500 to just play the one game I enjoy on the Xbox. I’ll just stick to Nintendo then.

No…

Probably still buy the next game and console. Or not. I don’t know.

I’ll still play. I’m one of those patient types. I also have enough going on irl to keep me occupied.

I doubt that the launch is gonna fail like the MCC Microsoft and 343 both know that it cannot happen again

im a rational person with an above average understanding of technology who understands why the MCC had the problems it did and how they in no way have any correlation to halo 5.

to answer your question, I will continue to play halo until they stop making them or I die, whatever comes first.

I dont think so nt if it happens I will continue playing

No, I’ll wait until it’s fixed and play something like Battlefront.

inb4 #Savehalo5first

it wont fail, 1if it fails I can seriously see it affecting halo 5s community massively, I mean look at MCC there was huge hype and then it wasn’t fixed for a good 100+ days to a reasonable state, now the playerbase is quite small compared to the other games, I cant remember the last time I saw MCC on the top 10 most played games.
Halo5guardians just cant afford to ship broken, It will break halo 5s playerbase and most likely the franchise

I’ll tough it out

I would still play it I’m playing a game I love

because either way at the end of the day

ITS ALL ABOUT THE GAME

I’m only really new to the whole online multiplayer thing. I’ve always been in Halo for it’s story, which is fantastic. So as long as the story is good -which I’m very sure it will be- I’ll be in for the long haul

It’s more like “how dysfunctional”. If its broken, and i mean REAL completly Broken like nothings works, not even campaign. Yeah i wouldn’t easely buy another Halo Game, If its like TMCC, it would hurt, but i have enough patience to wait until they fix it and i think it would go much faster than in TMCC. If there are only some little Problems etc, which can be fixed within days etc, than i don’t at all. Such Problems are to be expected in Games,…

Ill keep playing till they’ve at least finished the Chiefs story and probably past that. Even if the game shipped with nothing but the campaign working I would still buy the newer games in the series and the console to play them on if necessary. I just love the story that much. Would I be happy about the drop in quality of the games? Hell no, I’d be on the forums all day complaining with the rest of you pissed off fans. Thing is, I don’t think its possible to break the game that much without some deliberate trolling and that would mean career suicide for more than a few people in a company as large as that.

I’d probably wait a little while before I bought the next one, but yeah.
