Take after Titanfall 2 and MCC. Split up ALL gametypes into their own playlists and let us queue selectively. This prevents playlists from getting too dead to find a match, unless the gametype itself is truly disliked… in which case, why force us to play it along with the gametypes in that queue we DO want to play?
They have a playerbase of a couple million right now, no way this is necessary so early into the game. Some past Halo games had like 10 playlists late life and there were no matchmaking time issues.

I hate oddball too. No one i play with likes it either. I don’t care what someone’s rank is in a mix game mode play list, i care what their slayer rank is, their swat rank, their ctf rank. PRO scene running them together is fine, but for the player base I would at a minimum have a slayer playlist in ranked and un-ranked.
I quite like oddball.
Oddball is one of my favorites. I hate quitters, but being forced into a game mode you don’t like is even worse.
