if its in COD its automatically terrible?

no. just because something is featured in call of duty (or ANY game, for that matter), doesnt mean its an inherently bad idea to feature in halo.

am i advocating kill streaks and weapon mods and starting with a sniper rifle thats silenced? no.

but things like ‘final killcam’ dont really effect anyone negatively, at all.

just making sure every single last one of you that suggests, or brings up call of duty as the primary reason why something is bad, or wont work in halo, looks like a close-minded sillysauce.

open your brains. its embarrassing that a good 90% of this community has brains that insta-turn off when the words CALL OF DUTY are uttered, or COD is used.

Actually I would really enjoy COD features like killsteaks, and gun skins. But the rest of community disagrees, and you cant get your idea across if its only one person who likes it.

It’s just about maintaining that beautiful simplicity that Halo offers. Most of the things from COD take away from that.

I loved having named Marines in Reach, which is something that COD does.

IF ITS IN COD ITS AUTOMATICALLY TERRIBLE?

Yup. Halo was fine the way it was at 2. 900,500 people agree

yea, ‘most’. but not all. the vast majority of this community has a hemorrhage every time the words call of duty are used, and its embarrassing. they dont even CONSIDER the possibility for an idea to be cool for halo if it was in call of duty, or resembles anything in call of duty (or another game).

its flat out embarrassing.

Got any proof for that, buddy?

Thing’s that will or have ruined Halo from COD and why.

Credit’s - As soon as credits came instead of trueskill Halo’s competitive mutiplayer died, There was no reward for “good” players who spend time getting better in mutiplayer over bad kids who play firefight or action sack.

Killstreaks - Just no. Halo is about who is the best on the field, who has the better strafe or BR/DMR, who is smarter and who is a legend. Killstreaks would ruin gameplay and do the work for you.

Killcam - Why do you need to know where you were killed from? If your good enough you can see it with ease. If not then you don’t deserve to know where you got killed from, and if its to see the video of a funny death or some BS then check theater.

Perks, weapon addons - Halo’s core foundation is about having everyone start with the same advantages over the other team, Loadouts, addons, and perks would ruin core gameplay completely.

just so you know, i said ‘FINAL KILLCAM’

this is something that doesnt negatively effect even one single player in the entire world playing halo. or, if it would effect a player, this player is probably feeble-minded and immature and really shouldnt be playing ‘M’ rated FPS games to begin with.

Yah, I Agree, COD’s not Halo. It’s a different game. People play Halo because its not COD.

…oh that would not be so bad.

i agree that SOME ideas from cod can be implemented into halo. (considering they already stole fileshares and community sharing, as well as the theater in black ops)
I do think that a final killcam would be a nice idea, as well as maybe customizing your spartan’s armor for different classes. (make armor changes like having the tactical/patrol body from halo reach if you plan to rush sniper) This would almost be like customizing classes

While there as some things from COD that would improve Halo, there are others that, if used, would make me stop playing the game.

No just no, this is Halo, not that horrible CoD!

Want proof that CoD can wreck a Halo game then look at Halo Reach!

Example armor abilites is a spin-off of stupid perks from CoD which I hate.

If I see Halo getting anymore like CoD then I will see the Fall Of Halo, I’m a big fan of Halo.

I’m sorry, but I have to disagree. Cause in no way does Halo: Reach is similar to COD. Can we make custom classes? No.
Can we choose whatever weapon we want to start with? Apart from AA’s (which I agree they should be made as pick-ups), no. We start with preset weapons.
And just because Sprint is in Halo it is automatically COD? No, because there are other shooters that have sprint.

OT: I agree. Honestly, Call of Duty can be fun, but since the game has been the same for 4 years now, it gets tiring. And this is something that I fear that would happen to Halo. 343 can add any feature they want that could fresh up the core gameplay, but in a way that it still feels as a Halo game.

It’s more about something things are similar, some of the changes are widely hated.

are you saying that halo stole it from COD, or COD stole it from halo? the theater mode was from halo 3, from 2007, if you said that halo stole it, and what is the final kill cam? (i don’t play COD)

…You, sir, are one of the many tumors on the entire gaming community.

The people who say Halo: Reach is like CoD need to actually play a CoD game. Halo: Reach is nothing like any game in the CoD franchise. Yes is has sprint, but hundreds of other shooters have that. That’s pretty much the only thing CoD and Halo: Reach have in common other than guns, bullets, and soldiers.

I’ve played CoD: World at War, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, and Modern Warfare 3. Halo: Reach is nothing like any of them.
