If it's Halo 5, just call it Halo 5

If this is Halo 5, just call it Halo 5, don’t name it something else and announce this is Halo 5. This would confuse people, if it’s gonna bridge between Halo 4 and Halo 5, you can call it whatever. If it’s Halo 5, just name it Halo 5, not some confusing name, if it’s not Halo 5, that’s fine. I’, really excited for the game, I’m just really confused, and hope 343 will clear this up, when do you think 343 will clear this up?

I’ve seen some things that say it is and the im like YA YA YA Halo 5 and then people say its a spin off and I’m like WTF which is it, and I cry myself to sleep because of it. JK

I’m hoping that the final title will start with this:

"Halo 4:…

I would be fine with this beginning.
(This title would make sense, due to the fact that the Reclaimer Trilogy is going to last at least 10 years.)

I noticed that, really interesting.

Not neccesarily. The first Halo was just “Halo” but Microsoft made them add an extra title peice to make it more marketable and interesting. Then it went back to Halo 2, 3, and so on.

So, to raise interest for the Halo on the new console, they could be working out a special title like Combat Evolved had. Some have also pointed out that “5” doesn’ t really work all that well in Halo’s font and numbering scheme, so they could be trying to replace it because of that as well.

In “spirit” it will be Halo 5, the sequel to Halo 4, second in the Reclaimer Trilogy. The title will just be changed for marketing and promoting reasons.

Seriously. Just call it Halo 5. Not Halo Xbox One.

They are still working out a title, perhaps for various reasons. Halo Xbox One appears to be a placeholder.

I think the problem is the look of the 5 that would be in to logo. It’s not going to be an expansion of any kind, I’m guessing.

343 has Non-Disclosure Agreements. They can’t tell you anything about Halo 5 without prior approval.
