If it's going to be a progression system..

I know the ranking system in Halo 4 is a progression system, similar to Reach’s. Assuming this doesn’t change, can there at LEAST be a difference between how much exp you get from winning and losing? In Reach, regardless of win or loss, all players receive about the same number of credits, give or take a few for the negligible supposed “Winning Bonus.”

The problem with that is that you are rewarding players who simply play and play and play all day with high ranks whereas those who are actually good at the game but don’t play 8 hours a day are stuck with either a lower rank or are put on the same level as someone who is actually worse.

So my question is, since it is a progression system, will there at least be a difference between winning and losing? If I get 200 SP for winning a game, it’s logical that the losers should only get half that (or less) am I right?

I don’t get why people care so much about a number or symbol next to your GT. It really serves no purpose other than elitism which is pathetic.

If you’re good then you probably know that you’re good, a number that represents the stats which are alredy available to you is not something I see as a necessity.

You receive a huge bonus for winning the match, as well as for playing the objective. If you do well, you should rank up faster.
