why not just name it Halo 5? All the major Halo games (outside of CE) have been numbered (2,3,4). Naming it something else and it technically being Halo 5, people would be a bit confused, a Halo game with Master Chief and not major title installment. If it’s a bridge game, then I don’t mind it, but if it’s Halo 5, name it Halo 5.

It is Halo 5. I don’t know why they’re being weird about the title but the official xbox facebook page posted the trailer as “the trailer for Halo 5”.

Same reason DICE revealed “Star Wars Battlefront”, instead of “Star Wars Battlefront 3”…I guess.

Probably. I don’t know why they’re calling it that but Microsoft already called it Halo 5 on numerous occasions.
