Halo 5 was also a bad Halo game.
You just got to do better and get better is all. Cant blame the game on personal mistakes and faults.
Person 1 was trying to activate their overshield/cloak and didn’t want you to steal it.
Person 2 took too many shots to practically win that engagement, so returning fire would be a foolish suicide.
Person 3 was rushing the flag.
That’s why they ran away. You were a nuisance to their objective, and they weren’t actively trying to engage in a gunfight they were guaranteed to lose. They all had a very slim chance of getting a reversal unless they hit a perfect. If you hit headshots, you’d have killed them though. Opportunity fight or flight.
Yup, you had to master movement and aim. Every match feels the exact same in infinite. This halo gameplay is outdated as hell. We’ve all played it to death, I can guarantee you it’s the reason so many people have left.
Been there and done it.
That’s exactly my feeling. I look at my friends multi kill clips and I ask him “what’s different between all these clips?” And he can’t tell me. They all look the same. BR,BR,BR nade BR,BR nade. BR melee. It just cycles over and over again. There’s just nothing exciting going on
See they handled sprinting really well in Halo 5 with regards to this. If you sprinted it stopped your regen till you returned to walk. THIS SHOULD RETURN
Here’s what you’re actually saying:
“A guy that was better than me at maneuvering made it so I couldn’t complete a kill.”
Which I don’t think is a problem.
If I can out play in the same way then how is that an argument? That’s why the 3rd clip is important because it’s not about who moved better. I’m making an argument that Sprint adds unnecessary time to gameplay while also artificially making battles longer than they should be.
I mean, I personally do my best not to die. It’s the most enjoyable and immersive way to play the game for me. A real Spartan would do the same, unless sacrificing themselves would complete the mission. If you’re playing slayer, or many of these modes, not dying is the mission.
You didn’t outplay him. If this scenario happens:
That’s you getting outplayed. If you’re not killing someone because they’re better at maneuvering around the environment than you, you’re the one getting outplayed.
I mean you might have an argument for slayer matches, but literally everything you’re complaining about is good for other game types. So if a player knows they’re going to lose a fight in oddball, it’s much more advantageous to run around the corner, bait a greedy player to follow, then have you/your team mop him up so that during the respawn timer you still have a full squad to play the objective.
Nothing about that “artificially” makes the battles longer.
Second of all, even in slayer, doing that doesn’t “artificially” make the battles longer either.
I’m wondering why would shield regen stop when running? Because your armor servos use up too much energy to move you 10% faster? I saw some youtube movement comparisons and that’s about as much as it gives you +10% of speed. Removing shield regen for that 10% would be a HUGE debuff. If it was +50% or +100% like IRL running, then sure, debuff it by removing shield regen, but for a measly 10% movement increase? Not being able to shoot instantly and the enemy getting 1st shot on you is debuff enough for me.
The sprint speed is barely any faster than the base movement speed. Players shouldn’t be punished for having good movement. Even though they are because of desync, half the time I’m getting killed 12 feet behind cover because of desync. Half of the entire game is knowing when to disengage from a fight and get the hell out of dodge until either your shields recharge or help arrives. You shouldn’t be chasing players in Halo to begin with, it’s almost always a bad idea.
Yeah, modern kids have transformed disengaging into an Olympic Profession. It’s soooooo f’ing annoying. It’s not about the gun fights anymore but who can be the most shady doing it.
There is really kids breakdancing now when you’re shooting them. I mean, you good bro?!
Escaping around cover is part of FPS. Sprint is slow af.
Get gud?
Or, a coward wasted my time on a kill I ended up getting anyways and ruined more fun we could have had in the match in totality.
Bro, almost all of your posts are just saying you want Halo Infinite to be Halo 5. Halo 5 servers are still working, you can still use them.
Exactly my point. It’s more of a time thing rather than a I got out played thing. I rather get to a conclusion faster
Even tho I want classic just as much as the next Halo veteran. Just because I like Halo 5 doesn’t mean I’m always talking about it and on top of that Halo 5 is a 343 game and also a Halo game. It was also the last Halo game before Halo infinite so why shouldn’t halo 5 be talked about and compared to especially if it has more content right now
OP is mad that Sprint, which is the slowest it has ever been in Halo, is still capable of allowing evasive maneuvers?
If it’s still capable of allowing evasive manuvers then why does it matter that it’s slower? Are you saying it doesn’t change gameplay at all?
