Because the ranking system is messed up right now. I got put into diamond even though I lost like, 7 of the 10 qualifying matches I was put in.

True enough but then again, if he’s consistently out performing the other gold players he’s matched with then that would also indicate he should be bumped up a rank I guess.
Either the ranking system sucks or its because your playing during low hours where not many people are on so the game has 2 broaden their search range.
