If I Only Play Infinite, Do I even need a Series X

If Infinite is the only game I play and campaign is 4K and 60 and multiplayer is is 1080/1440 at 120, is there any point to getting a Series X? One X can do that.

You dont need a series x to play it but it would just look better and run smoother with better hardware , which is what Microsoft is claiming the series x can achieve .

If you want to play at 4k 60 fps in campaign, you need an Xbox Series X or a fancy pants PC. They haven’t released details on how well it will run on One X, but it won’t be 4k 60.

I speculate it will be 4k 30fps on Xbox One X.

One X runs 4K and 60. Isn’t 5 campaign 4K and 60?

Nope. This game is built from the ground up for current gen. Next gen Xbox is pointless.

Hence why this game looks like Craig.

Locked to 60fps, yes, but with dynamic resolution. H5 doesn’t hit 4K very often.

Tuhin: Are you sure? It looks pretty amazing on my TV. It is definitely better than 1080P most of the game… at least the cut scenes. Gameplay is harder to tell for me, but cut scenes and just exploring has to be very close to 4K. I play on a Samsung Q60.

I play Firefight on a 1080P monitor and there is definitely a very noticeable difference.

That’s fine with me. The reason to play it on series x isn’t good enough.

I mean, unless you have a gaming PC you’re not gonna hit 120 on a Xbox One.

One X says it can hit 120 at 1080/1440P. There just have not been many games capable of that.

I will probably just get a Series X to future proof if nothing else. I just do not think it is necessary for Infinite at this point. I may be missing something, but unless you are doing Dirt 5 or Forza which are 4K/120, One X is enough.

My PC can play my xbox games much better than my xbox one X could I don’t see much of a reason to upgrade to series X as most of my gaming done on pc now which is even better now that Microsoft seems to be going in with full support for PC with their games.

If you wanted to invest money into something get a gaming PC if not wait the 2 Years after such the support for Xbox one will be finishing up and the Series X would hopefully be a bit more affordable.

I agree here. I don’t really see the point in getting a Series X.

It will not be 4K 60fps on One X.Only on Series X,it was said yesterday on Waypoint news.

In my opinion if you want the best graphics and you have a really good gaming pc then you should get the series x as a high performance gaming pc will coat well over a thousand dollars whilst the series x is 500
