If hired to work on Halo, what job would you want?

The title is a bit weird, but they only give me 50 characters to work with. So…

If you could get hired to work on the next Halo game, what job would you want? Why that job in particular?

Background scenery. I like to draw and paint abstract imagery so I think background landscape type stuff would be my strength.

I’d probably help with playlist management and map settings since I’m not a big computer person or maybe working in QA with play testing. I’d be happy to do anything to be honest lol.

Probably Armor and Character concept artist / brainstormer. I ain’t the best artist, but I enjoy it

I’d want to be a writer. I love Halo’s lore.

Probably character design. When I saw Chief in 2018’s trailer and then especially in 2019’s trailer, my excitement for Halo was reinvigorated. If I could have that kind of effect on other people through something as simple as a character’s armour that would be so cool.

Either art design or a writer. I like drawing, and I also like the overall design of Halo , especially form 4 and 5. But I also like games with good stories (e.g., Halo, RDR, GTA,etc,) so I’d be always open for the writer’s job

I see people left nice comments and most of you would like to go into writing or design. That’s cool, a lot of creative people here.

I myself would like to work on the sandbox and enemy design. Why?
I like playing the campaigns, over and over. I enjoy them more than the MP, even though I play both.
Well, the campaigns from CE to Reach. Halo 4 eh, so so. Halo 5 not really.
The Covenant is a really well designed enemy type. The units are all unique and each one of them asks for a different approach.
The Flood is a bit hit or miss, not so varied, but I still enjoy them.

The Prometheans are a different story.
I just do not find them fun to play against and I think that is the sole reason Halo 4 and 5 have had such a bad reception. It made the campaigns worse.
If I was granted a spot in the enemy design team, and I’m just hypothesizing here. I’m no game developer nor would I really want to be.
But if that was to happen in some alternate reality, I’d make sure to make the Prometheans engaging and fun to combat.
They need a “skill kill” mechanic so that an experienced and knowledgeable player can dispatch with them in one to two shots.
Like the plasma pistol \ pistol combo for Elites. Or the needler for Brutes. Or shooting the had of a Jackal holding a shield.

That’s what I’d want to do.

Enemy design and gameplay. It is important that the enemy is both good looking and fun to shoot at.

Definitely a writer. I would love to throw my two cents in on the story direction of Halo. Halo canon is my drug of choice lol.

Either writer or some job involving graphic design, whether it be advertising, designing shirts, or design packaging for products related to the next game.
Writer because the universe and story is the best part of halo and I’d love to contribute to it. Graphic design related job because that’s what I’m going to school for.
I would say concept artist because I like drawing creatures, environments, and characters but I’m not that great of an illustrator.

Multiplayer tester. I’ve always enjoyed testing new things and finding any issues.

I’d like to be on the Community Team!

Background architecture.

Hardware technician. Can’t make a game with broken equipment. Parts need replacing, software has to be installed.

Narrative writer. I have every piece of the fiction and I’ll never stop.

I also want to be an ONI scientist explaining lore at the next Outpost Discovery.
