Unfortunately, this would involve a new Halo overall, and adapting the technology to be able to render assets of Halo. By the looks it feels like a COD styled graphic look, not Halo. Good idea though.
I very highly doubt that that engine is optimized for gaming, that it runs in real-time outside of a supercomputer, and that the Xbox 360 would ever be able to supply the required processing power.
One can only dream…

A very good read. Thank you for the link, and thanks to Notch for writing it.

OK, I love Notch and everything he does, but that too many words for me.

More or less he said that the creators of this engine were over-hyping the engine and calling it something new and tremendous, but in actuality it has been done before and it is nothing to drool over. He gave examples to back up his claim, such as other engines.

I have heard people say it is a scam, but who would try to sell something that simply will not pass due diligence?

They’re trying to get funding. People invested in the industry are interested in seeing new technologies grow, so they will fund projects like this. It’s possible they could being using the funding legitimately, but they certainly haven’t proven it with this video. The technology itself is real, they’re just not telling the whole truth about it. Like Notch pointed out, there’s no animations present in that video, because it’s impractical to do at this point with this voxel method. Supposedly they just release one video per year, which just adds to the skepticism.
