So Warzone in Halo 5 was fun in both Verses and Firefight mode but it got very repetitive to where you could predict the NPC enemies. Which Wave they would spawn at which location. I know it would become a problem back in the Beta but their is only so much they can do to fix that.
But I was thinking what would be some things that could make Warzone better make it a Warzone 2.0.
New Maps and Enemies would be nice but that doesn’t solve the problem i have with it.
How about it have more of a Strategy Scenario to it:
An example:
Lets say the Mp is a new one that takes place on a Halo Ring or an Ark.
It starts off like a normal Warzone with Spartans killing NPC enemies of the type to the map. but this time you could have two main factions. So for this one you could have the Flood and the Prometheans/Covenant. so now you have 4 sides in this battle. the Two Spartan forces, The Flood, and The Prometheans/ Covenant. Killing enimes and Spartans gives you points and the high tier enemy the higher the points. you will have mini bosses like for the Flood the Juggernaut and Abomination Types and for the Promatheans, Warden Ethernal.
Now during the battle each NPC team will be trying to awaken their Main Boss, For the Flood, The Gavemind and the Promatheans, A Forerunner like the Didact, These main Bosses will be worth huge amounts of points but will be extremely Deadly and hard to beat. The Main Bosses will also try to take over its side of the map by spawning higher tier enemies under it at a faster rate. Now the team will be spawning in a hostile playing field. Once the Main boss is awaken the Spartan Teams Spawn point become limited number of Safe zone from attacks both ways, so they will have to leave to fight and can not go back in. The Main Bosses will become harder the longer they are a live and a wake. As the number of enemies they spawn will increase if not quickly put under control.
Lets say the Gravemind awakes and the Spartan Team Focuses on the other side and lets it grow and Spawn enemies. when they start respawning they could end up with 15 Juggernaut types walking around attacking.
This give each time a chance to pick a low or high risk gameplay. Do you focus on stopping the Main boss on your side from waking up and take the low risk long route to victory or do you let the main boss wake up and go for the high risk, high points route.
Since the Main bosses will awake at one of the two sides that are the Spartan teams base. you could try and play low risk on your side and force the other team to play high risk by stopping them from stopping the NPCs.
Now for Firefight mode this could make it harder because now you have a larger Spartan Team but you have two NPC teams to stop or you could ended up fighting two Main bosses at once. So for these reason I would increase the Spartan Team from 8 to 16 Spartans.
With the Game changing as to how well the Spartan team plays. Like if the team is doing extremely well where either bosses will have a chance to show up, the game will throw more mini bosses at them, but if they are doing poorly than they will have the normal amount which will likely lead to a Boss awakening. This way the Challenge is always there.
Having the Mini Bosses make ten different Spawn Points with a randomize spawn pick which would be coded in, it would make trying to guess the mini bosses spawn point. and once a Main Boss has awaken the Mini Bosses can spawn anywhere around it at random.
I think this would make for an interesting and fun gametype on both side of it.
