If halo and c.o.d fuse, i am out

Has anybody seen the new footage for infinite warfare?
their dropships, mechs, ships, characters?
It looks like halo in antother art style.
And its driving me crazy, cause halo tryed to implement new fans by changing it self (up to a bad point) and now c.o.d is doing it with halo, but not only gameplay( seams cod gets oddball) even the designs.
The fighter= broadsword.
The dropship=pelican

I mean even a ships name is the UNSA Retribution.
NOW, i fear that cod becomes a better halo than halo 5 has become.

Never, CODs TTK is way too quick to ever be considered Halo material. Even in
H5, the TTK isn’t anywhere close to COD.

I searched “sci fi fighter planes” in Google Images. Look at what came up. The F-41 Broadsword isn’t particularly original.

Why don’t you just take a look at what comes up when you search “dropship” in Google Images? Again, the Pelican isn’t very original.

You try coming up with a United Nations-based space military. Not many ways you can go about creating an acronym for it.

It’s not so much the ttk as it is about the style of the game.

Halo is an epic space Opera,

We’re as cod is a gritty military type theme.

So I don’t think op is really referenceing the mechanics as much as those things.

There are very few similarities between CoD and Halo. They are both FPS, but beyond that they are quite dissimilar.

Halo doesn’t have a copyright on dropships, mechs, or [space]ships. Nor did Halo create them.

Hey OP, we generally try and steer clear of comparison threads here as they tend to degrade fairly quickly. Each game has its own unique qualities that players enjoy and I’m sure both will be successful in their own way. We don’t want things to turn into developer bashing, which almost always happens with topics like these. Thanks for understanding :slight_smile:
