If Halo 5 is a Success

Its because Halos fan base has become soft. It does seem like more and more new Halo fans just want kills handed to them just like they want power weapons indicated for them.
The competition just isn’t there anymore. The rage is gone. The communication is gone. All the Squeakers from games past have grown up and now they are the ones who will ultimately decide that they want a softcore Halo. They will probably even ask for a Softcore playlist instead of hardcore.
I am saddened by the new Halo generation

you havnt even played the beta, therefore you don’t have a clue on what you are saying.

Yes. You are right. 100%. Everyone agrees with you and you are really handsome. Here’s some $$$$$$$. Okay, bye, luv you drive safe.

… wait … did you just say “the rage is gone”? You haven’t even played the beta, have you? Get outta here.

“New Halo Generation”? I’ve been gaming since the 80s. Get outta here.

If Halo 5 is a success, I will celebrate, with pancakes! Hot, tasty pancakes!

Oh look, Waypoint’s newest provocateur failing at being a provocateur. How delightful!

> The competition just isn’t there anymore. No, it’s gotten even more competitive. The rage is gone. Huh? The communication is gone. No, 343i is speaking to us more than Bungie did. All the Squeakers from games past have grown up and now they are the ones who will ultimately decide that they want a softcore Halo. They will probably even ask for a Softcore playlist instead of hardcore. **What’s wrong with a casual-based Halo? That’s what I would prefer.**I am saddened by the new Halo generation

He was banned recently and is really salty about it. Read his gamertag backwards

Yay another one of these people.

I think the OP has probably been out in the sun too long and needs to have a lie down

If Halo 5 is a success, I am going to come back on the forums the first week and write several “I told you so” posts about it so Halo purists such as yourself can realize how insignificantly dumb you were…you know what I might go on a research spree and find all of the haters posts so I can compile a greatest hits of Anti-Halo arguments of Waypoints past…it will be called “I would rather be salty than enjoy a game.”…it’s going to be great!

The Beta was beautiful. Warzone looks badass. Campaign looks solid.

It’ll be good.

Agreed. The mentality is completely different than it used to be.

I love you. Please continue this manner of ripping the haters.

I like how there is no chance of it being a success just because it is an awesome game. Its only shot is the community going soft. Really? Geez. There are so many people that want Halo 5 to fail because it isn’t a re-hash game like CoD.

I don’t know about you, but I’m flattered at the notion that I’m a New Halo Generation. My knees feel better already!

Softcore Halo fan, checking in! No more rage here. Though, that may be less about Halo and more about being another decade removed from puberty, but whatever.

Tell me again how this is bad for Halo?

The irony of your viewpoint is that the weapon indicators and timers actually heightens the level of competition, because now all players are informed, and even completely new players to Halo will operate with pro-level information available. The indicators and timers focuses the learning curve of Halo game play into a very competitive space, and helps to bring pro-esque game play to the masses. Now the focus is not about where or when the weapon spawns, but HOW you go about capturing it. Which… is an awesome and welcome change imo.

Agreed. I don’t understand how that type of thinking can even be disputed.
