This isn’t a thread complaining about how there was no trailer. This is only a theory thread. Also, I’m simply using what happened at the VGAs to support my theory. This isn’t about what happened there.
Okay, so…If Halo 4 would have won, we would have seen a trailer. Think about it. Mass Effect 3 won the Most Anticipated Game and they showed off their new trailer. If Halo 4 won as the Most Anticipated Game, don’t you think they would’ve showed a Halo 4 trailer after?
“But, they didn’t win. So no trailer.” Well, yes. But, that means that they already made a trailer. Think about it. They didn’t know if they were going to win or not. So, they had to make a trailer in case they did win, no? So, my theory is, they already have a trailer made for us. But, the question is, when will they let us see it? If my theory is correct, then hopefully we can see something soon. Thoughts?
They never intended to show a trailer, Frankie made that perfectly clear two times, I wish people would stop making assumptions and accusing 343 of lying, they said they were not going to release one, yet some morons seem to think they were, when they clearly said There would not be one

1.) When did I ever accuse 343 of lying?
2.) This is a theory. I’m not saying 343 would have shown a trailer no matter what. It’s simply a THEORY that if they won, they may have shown one.
3.) THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE VGAs. I couldn’t care less about what happened at the VGAs. I’m simply using the VGAs to support my theory and that’s it.

I wasn’t saying that it was you accusing them, and I wasn’t calling you a moron either, but most of the people raging are morons, and are accusing them of lying.
Mass Effect 3 gad a trailer anyways, not just because they won. Bioshock lost, they had a trailer, for example. Whether Halo won or lost, there was no trailer.

You bring up a good point. But, 343 could have surprised us. As a little “gift” to us since we voted for Halo 4.

This is actually plausible. I would not be surprised, at all, if this was the case.

Actually I’m pretty sure it would have been even worse. “So we vote for you guys to win and you can’t even give us a trailer!!! 343, YOU SUCK!!!1!!!11”
It would have been nice to see one though, The game is scheduled to come out in a year and all we have are a teaser trailer and some art work, they have been working on the game for years, and all we have is a teaser trailer and some art work, along with the books but I’m talking direct game play information having to do with Chief and actions in the game its self. I know they did a great job on Anniversary and I have complete faith that 343 will take halo in the right direction. But it is a bit worrying that we haven’t had much information about the game since halo fest, which even then wasn’t plenty - I,m not trying to sound ungrateful, I’m grateful for all they have done they have really taken up a huge challenge here and I respect that. But now that the VGAs are done, what are they going to do to make the game out there, This is Halo’s chance to become the dominant game on the market again, and with the games I’ve seen coming out next year I’m sure they have a great shot. But we really need more participation with the community about the game, that’s all Im asking.
To be honest, apart from the Transformers trailer and the Bioshock trailer- the VGA were poor this year. I’m kind of glad Halo didn’t show anything there.
The Last of Us is getting stupid amounts of hype for what looks like a bland- zombie style game. The Mass effect 3 trailer, from a die hard ME fan, was appalling. Alan Wake, meh and never like MGS.
So overall, no there was never going to have been a trailer and in a way, i’m glad there wasn’t.

If that wasn’t related or directed to the OP, why did you bring it up then?
