If Halo 4 is a big mess . . .

Before I start off, I am very positive that Halo 4 will be an outstanding game. I believe that many gamers who aren’t Halo fans will see how awesome it is and what they’ve been missing out on, and purchase the game.

Although I’ve been a fan of all Halo games so far, if Halo 4 is a bad game, I’m giving up on Xbox - which means I’m abandoning Halo. I’m not here to talk about myself, but just think about it. Everyone is so hyped up about this game and if Halo 4 was to fail, it would disappoint many and they wouldn’t be interested in what Halo has to offer after it. If 343 Industries blows this, then it’d be a huge, HUGE mistake. I know too many people who did not like ODST, Wars, or Reach, so Halo 4 must put a way to stop that. All I’m trying to say is 343 has big shoes to fill, and the future of Halo will not be very bright if Halo 4 is - um, not a very good game.

We all think it, its just we dont want it to be true. This is 343’s chance to prove or destroy themselves, but i have really high hopes for this game and im trying not to worry.

It will be Awesome

ODST, Halo Wars and Reach wasn’t about the Master Chief.
Halo wars wasn’t a FPS game and it wasn’t created by Bungie.
ODST was ment to be an expansion pack and it was basically all about campaign. They did introduced Firefight which I thought was a awesome new game mode + you didn’t pay 60 bucks for the game. I think most of us paid around 40$.
Halo Reach was a full game and I must admit I was kinda disaspointed with the campaign and the multiplayer. I did like the Firefight mode which was introduced in ODST.
Halo CE - Halo 3 didn’t dissapoint me one bit. Even though Halo 2s campaign was kinda bad and rushed I still think H2 was a solid game. No games with MC has been bad so far (my opinion) I think Halo 4 will be an awesome game but I won’t know that for sure until I’ve played the game.

Whatchu talkin bout Willis? I payed 60 bucks…

People have different likes and opinions. If somebody doesn’t like Halo 4 then you can’t change that.

I’m pretty confident that Halo 4 WILL BE an awesome game.

I would say you got ripped off

I’m in the same boat. If this goes south, I really won’t be getting a 720, and I’ll probably no longer play new Halo games (I may stick with Halo 3 until they kill the servers). I don’t want it to go south, but this is gonna decide my future in console gaming. Fail, and I will fully transition onto the PC. This is the one game series that I have the console for now.

Bungie to a lot of publicity on Halo Reach for the highlight.
We have seen what it has given following.

That’s why the video Halo 4 we see mean nothing, you must play it to judge.

We can not say it’s a good game yet, we do not know much about this game

Call me crazy but Reach actually lived up to my expectations

I know that, and I am hoping for the best. I am cautiously optimistic with Halo 4.

isnt the average price of a game as around $60? where im from games are around $45 so that would have to make them $60-65 in america and canada.

> I would say you got ripped off

60 bucks is nothing when the average price tag over here is around 95-100 bucks.

For me it’s about a multiplayer Halo Reach recycled.

For the co-op mode is a mixture of spec ops and Firefight

Only the campaign appears to be independent and interresting for now.

That’s exactly why I don’t overhype myself.

I did the mistake with Reach. I thought it would be the best Halo game ever and found myself disappointed a few weeks after release. I still played it a lot but it didn’t even come close to Halo 3 in terms of fun.

I’m optimistic and I like what I have seen so far but I’m not getting myself extremely hyped like most people do.

If H4 turns out well, I’ll risk overheating just to play it.

Though I’d much rather play it on the PC. H4 for PC (just the campaign), that would definitely be the greatest thing ever!

But no pressure…

I’m sure 343i does not need to be reminded of this.

I think the only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of emotion and adrenaline I experienced during the campaign and the ENDLESS WALKING in big multiplayer matches due to lack of vehicles.

343 knows the risks of taking over the Halo franchise. No small feat there; they are just as nervous as we are. So good so far 343. It would be absolutely terrible for them to bomb the first game though.
