If Halo 4 ends up being like Reach, what other games this holiday will you play instead? Will you go back to Reach?
There’s Assassins creed 3 and besides Reach was still a great game just a lousy Halo one.
I actually enjoyed Halo Reach and failed to see what is bad about it.
Also if you guys hated it for armor lock and other things, know than Halo 4 will have more armor abilites and perks.
If Halo 4 ends up like Reach…
I’ll play Halo 4 this Holiday.

If Halo 4 ends up like Reach, I wont play another game instead. I’ll play Halo 4. I loved Reach.
Halo 4 will play like halo 4. It’s going to be a great game.
Oh good, seems I am not the only one who doesn’t hate reach then. Reach was a great game to those who realise that games need to change. We don’t want to end up like cod fans who beg for change and don’t get it. We are pretty ungrateful for the work done to be honest.

You mean a great game that emphasis teamwork that has a dedicated following that keeps the game populated even years after it’s release?
I’ll still be playing it. It’s a different experience. I have a hard time seeing it end up like Reach. The campaign looks more promising than Reach, the MP, and Spops is sure to be a hitter. Nice looking forge and custom games may as well be better than ever.
Only thing I’m worried about in Spartan Ops, is the lag.
Borderlands 2 and BF3. but I doubt halo 4 will end up like reach. I personally stopped playing reach because there really wasn’t much incentive to keep playing like in halo 3. I just kept playing for credits that I couldn’t use. Spartan ops and specializations will keep me busy for a while…
I don’t play reach because of Armour Lock and the tremendous amounts of forge maps, Since both these have been taken care of now I might as well super glue the disc tray closed with the game inside.
I’ll enjoy it thouroughly, as I did with Reach.
if it turns out to fail like reach did (which i doubt it will), i will never buy another halo game again. PERIOD. i said that after reach, and i wasnt even interested in halo 4 until i saw the E3 demo. I think theres hope because it is the return of MC and cortana, and the MP looks much more balanced than Reach. Also Spartan Ops is Bad*ss.
And yes, ive played every single halo game
By “turns out like Reach” do you mean, a disappointment?
First off, I think Reach was a pretty good game. I’d be a hypocrite to say it was bad since I played it for like a year and half straight.
I mean, there’s a chance that Halo 4 might not live up to the extreme hype its created, but from what I’ve seen, thats unlikely. It looks fantastic!
I’ll be playing it at the Eurogamer Expo next month so i’ll see
What’s peoples’ problems with Reach? It was a great game, probably my favourite so far. I love everything about it really. Sure, it was a one off prequel, but you should treat it as one. It had a good storyline, decent characters and had a believable atmosphere.
You should just play Halo 4, and make judgements then.
Reach was fine. There were some aspects of it which worked poorly, but they were changed in a title update done by 343. Heck, I would expect that Bungie would have even updated the game if they had the time, but they were busy transitioning their franchise over to 343i at the time.
Post TU Reach can have some of the most competitive settings of any Halo game.
EDIT: I suppose I should add that if H4 ends up like Reach I’ll love it too.

That’s wrong. Team shooting isn’t really the highest form of teamwork. In fact, it’s the most simple, the most shallow, and the easiest type and is the only form of teamwork that is really supported in Reach. In fact, it’s not only supported, but it’s forced. But as far as teamwork goes, it’s very shallow in Reach.
If Halo 4 ends up like Reach… I’ll be chillin in the classic playlists and campaign, and wait for Bioshock Infinite to come out in February.

From what I’ve read, Halo 4 is meant to lean heavily on 2 & 3 whilst having a dash of Reach thrown into the mix.
The gameplay looks faster, only time will tell
And, if it does end up like Reach, I’ll be playing a too much Spartan Ops to care
If it ends up like Reach I’ll be playing it A LOT.
