If Firefight Returns, Make Weapons More Viable

From what I heard of Halo 5’s Warzone Firefight, most weapons are considered less effective compared to vehicles. I hope if Firefight (or a similar PvE mode) returns in Infinite that weapons are more viable, while still making vehicles viable as well.

I mean, it was like that in Reach and ODST too for the most part as well. Vehicles were just plain superior. Infinite Ammo can have that sort of effect really. The major difference though was that Halo 5’s Firefight you could summon the vehicles at will, and the Wave/Round timers made it so you couldn’t just whittle enemies down, you HAD to be fast and efficient. Which meant vehicles. Barring some exceedingly rare cases, where Plasma Casters and such were the way to go (Angry fist-shake at the Hunter Swarmlords hiding in the back of the Warzone bases)

Tbh if Warzone FF Had a customs it wouldve been the best FF we had. But reqs should be permanent unlocks.

please bring firefight to infinite

Yeah, I really hope that Firefight in Halo Infinite will be more balanced than H5 was.

There’s a lot that could be changed/improved if the REQ system (or anything like it) is gone, and weapons and vehicles are no longer single-use throwaway items.
Like how about provide a way of refilling the ammo for power weapons, balanced with a cooldown or in-match currency system or something, of course. That Spartan Laser variant becomes a lot more useful if you’re able to fire it more than 5 times

The guns weren’t really a problem, it’s that the AI were bullet soaking sponges. I think they just need to be more creative on how they use the AI instead of buffing them up so much.

Exactly, it’s what killed it for me honestly. The way I always said it was I thought it was pretty messed up that you couldn’t even attempt to finish the game with loadout weapons and had to rely on power weapons and vehicles. I remember years ago when the req system broke and that’s what we were stuck with… really broken gamemode like that if you ask me.
