If everyone quits in rumble pit = DNF

Just wanted to get on the forums to let everyone know that you’ll be getting DNF’s on your record in rumble pit when everyone quits the game besides you. I was in the lead with 23/25 kills and everyone kept quitting (lack of quitting penalties) until I was the last man in the game. This is the second time this has happened to me so I can guarantee you will be a loser if everyone else decides to quit. Once you’re the last man in the game, it just says saving stats instead of the victory screen popping up. The game will then load the UNSC eagle screen and send you back to the main menu with a free loss on your record.

If you care about your win rate as much as I do, I highly suggest avoiding rumble pit as half the time everyone quits within the first 3 minutes. You’ll only end up trying your heart off for a mere loss on the record (waste of 12 minutes). Apparently 343i can’t take the extra five seconds to record that you’re the last man and give you the win for it. Instead in 343i’s mind, everyone’s a loser.

There is the proof. ^

Does only one person win in rumble pit? Or is it the top half players that win? I was just curious b/c if only one person wins, it’s bad odds anyway unless the player is REALLY good (aka not me, lol).

Sorry double post.

I think it’s the first three players that are considered the winners.

This is one of the reasons why I generally dislike playing Rumble Pit (FFA) in Halo 4. People quit more frequently and not even join-in-progress can solve the issue. This never happened as much in Halo Reach or Halo 3.
