Would it still be overpowered?
I really don’t know but,it would be cool if we could press a button so we could flip our DMR around the other way, hold it by the barrell and hot BS users over the head with the DMR rifle butt.

It would be real cool if we could press a button so we could trip the DMR users over and bash their heads in repeatedly with a Gravity Hammer.
It wouldn’t make sense. The reason why most UNSC (human) weapons are hit-scan in Halo games are because it is impossible to have our current generation games register such a fast speed accurately during realtime multiplayer combat. Bullets move much faster than Plasma or other kinds of energy in the Halo Universe so slowing down a bullet would make no sense. Another thing that might make you understand the difference it that Plasma energy and Forerunner shots burn more than they pierce like a metal bullet so they don’t need to travel as fast, nor can they without burning out/disintegrating. The only reason why the Beam Rifle, Carbine, and the Binary Rifle all have hit-scan is because they are compressed or have a clip to shoot with. The Beam Rifle shoots concentrated plasma energy so it has to still cool down unlike the Carbine or Binary Rifle which have their ammunition already made and in the storage compartment/magazine of the weapon.

You mean hitscan vs ballistic. Ballistics can be as minimalistic as calculating for movement through the “air” only and projectile is what describes either type of shot you wish to compare.

The DMR is not OP’d as it is now. However I am not opposed to the Carbine getting an precision boost to further close up the short end of things.

That would work for me too as I use a wide range of weapons.
I’d prefer it if I could tell the difference between energy weapons and projectile weapons aside from projectile speed/absence of projectile speed
I honestly can’t tell whether or not they deal extra shield damage in exchange for some stopping power.
Do they still do that, or did that stop being a thing while I was asleep?
:x
Hmmm, just remove its hitscan ability? It would hurt its effectiveness at long range. I like it, but the bullet still needs to be pretty damn fast
does 343 have a general record of overall kills with all weapons we could see??
i think DMR is OP because it can shoot through walls.
but otherwise we need to see the list of guns and kills with each gun so we can make the lower killcount weapons equal to DMR (obviously most kills)
No, it’s not a halo game, because it was not made by bungie. Therefore, anniversary and wars are not halo games. Actually, since reach and odst were cheap ploys to milk money out of us, then they do t count as halo games either. Well, wait, actually, 2 and 3 had so many flaws that they don’t count because they took away the scope ofmthe pistol from halo ce. So only ce was the only real halo game. Actually, that’s wrong too. Ce was too boring, with an overpowered pistol, too many enemies and no xbox live or clans with it. So let’s face it: there are NO halo games out there. It is all cheap marketing ploys and lies. I hate this. I’m going back to atari, -Yoinks!-! At least there I’m not living a lie.
