If dlc maps failed to load, here is the solution

Bungie knew they had a problem since the Defiant Maps were released. This post details it:

Here is a link to the post describing the problem and solution:

All I had to do was delete the “bungie pro confirmation” item I had on my hard drive in the games section of memory. Cured the problem instantly.

I would have expected this problem to be handled long ago as it seems to affect the people who matter most, the ones who pay for all the bells and whistles!
I buy Bungie pro and every map pack, so I get to be the one with unresolved programing issues like this? It wasn’t easy finding the answer either! At the very least, a “heads up” message would have been the least that could have been done.

I don’t have that bungie pro confirmation item on my HDD. I think I deleted it a long time ago b/c of this very issue with defiant map pack but now I get failed to load on the anniversary map pack

Same here, I just copied the new map pack from my xbox to my wifes and even though it lists it in her list of data for Reach, it still says she has to download it. We’re going to try redownloading it again on hers so I’ll keep this post updated.

They also say other DLC could affect it, like Recon, Preorder gamestop grenade belts.
Why don’t you try transfering files to a USB drive and see if removing them helps. If not then you can transfer them back.

No Bungie Pro here either and Anniversary maps still fail to load in Reach. Any other solutions to this?
