If DLC into playlist implementation is...

If DLC into playlist implementation is the same as Reach, the Halo 4 LE is gonna suck and not be worth it, since you can easily buy the goodies for a good price of ebay.

Who said it was like Reach’s?

Considering how many people normally buy the limited editions of Halo games, there will definitely be enough people to play the maps often.

But if they f*ck up, no one will see the maps come by anyways.

Kinda confused how they can mess up… If the people have the maps, they’ll show up, if they don’t then they don’t…

I guess Bungie tried to be nice by not making is a requirement to get the maps like Halo 3 did, but 343 can do it a little.

Why didn’t you just condense this and your other thread into one?

No one knows what it will play like, but I do agree. DLC playlists need some special attention as the investment into this is a cost to us and, in my professional opinion, shouldn’t be weighted down because of a lack of population. If there’s another factor for its removal, I’ll stand by that decision. anytime you place an investment into something, it should be something which should be embraced for others to play when they like to within an online experience like Multiplayer.

im sure everyone wants the LE but some may have issues getting it like financial problems or whatever

DLC comes up fairly often for me even in non DLC playlists. People just never vote for them because they are dumb.

The only thing wrong with Reach’s DLC is that nobody has it.

I kind of hope the maps are implemented similar to how Gears of War 3 added new maps. That being when the map packs are released, they also include extra armor customization/skins or some other bonus, and those that buy the pack get all the content and get to play the maps earlier. But a couple months later or so the maps will be released to everyone without the extra content, so that way their aren’t multiple playlist for each DLC pack released.

How more people aren’t outraged at this exclusion of content is beyond me. The gaming community is always so willing to bend over and pay for what was once part of the game, day one.

Well, the maps actually AREN’T day one DLC.

The deal is is that once they become made and available via XBox Live, those who got the LE get them for free (Not technically, but close enough).

i personally would just pay for the dlc later instead of making one payment of 100 dollars

So the maps don’t ship on the LE disc?

Well, that makes me feel better. I wanted to punt my 360. Now… not so much. Thanks for clearing that up.

For the three map packs, It’s 30 dollars for me. In Canada. Thats an extra 10$ on a cool case, a briefing packet, extra content for your spartan, and access to the Forward Unto Dawn.

Kinda an obvious choice for me, I’ve been here for 10 years and I love Halo.

Not worried about this. Ill be getting all maps regardless of how they release. And as far as implementation goes. I think new maps should start out in there own playlist then move into the standard playlist after more people have obtained them.
