Agreed. At this point I am not a Locke fan. Maybe Halo 5 will change that, so I am keeping an open mind.

That would be appropriate. Or something similar to Carter’s death but on a larger scale. Like he goes kamikaze to take out a capital ship or some huge promethean weapon.

That would be awesome and depressing at the same time.

But in all seriousness he would have to go out doing what he does best and that is saving humanity. I could easily see him sacrificing himself for humanity especially since he already disobeyed many orders just to do what he knew was right. Hes kind of a BA if you havnt heard
If chief dies, then the a big part of the franchise too. 343 just keep chief alive.
When Chief dies it will be in combat. If you have read any of the books Chief dreams combat essentially, combat is his life and he can’t see himself dying any other way.
He deserves an epic death, if there has to be one so soon.
If he must, Chief needs to go out like Jorge. Only instead of taking out just one ship, he needs to take out an entire, massive fleet.
I dont think Chief will die in 5, most likely Halo 6. But agreed he has to have a memorable death given his iconic status, e.g Sacrifice himself to save others
