If anything, give sprint-supporters one playlist.

It’s been shown time and time again that you guys are in the minority, yet you tell us to calm down because we were promised one playlist.

There have been multiple polls on this forum, and it’s been shown that you guys are in the vast, vast minority.

But this is also the fault of 343. Throwing in a side comment as if they said ‘oh, I forgot, there’ll be something for the competitive community…’ when it’s not exactly about the competitive community. The truth is, the majority of Halo players don’t want any of these gimmicky additions that 343 is adding, yet they’re catering mostly to the minority that does want these features.

I think they should remove sprint and add duel wielding

just my opinion

> add duel wielding

Dual-wielding adds just as many problems on a balance level.

I think your wrong. Sorry, but I think sprint is cool and we need to give room for 343 to make this game. (I must be in the minority).

Tell me why you want sprint in the game.

Better yet, explain why Halo needs sprint at all outside of customs.

You…You mean you speak for EVERYONE!?

EVERYONE! EVERYONE! This man is a PROPHET! He has played the sacred Halo 4 and knows all!

BOW TO HIM!!!

Now I know that all you guys do is copy-paste random arguments.

Sprint is in the game and it seems to be a default game mechanic. If the supporters are the minority then the majority was deffinatly not catered to this time which is good. ;]

P.S I like sprint and am happy to see it return to Halo 4.

Wow!

Can someone get this guy a forum award for how witty and unprecedented his response was?!?

The funniest part is, the part that made me actually laugh, is how none of his arguments were relevant at all to anything I said.

I would love it if that was true… and they shoved all the Reach fans into a corner instead of the Halo 1, 2, and 3 fans.

In the minority on this forum.

Anyway, it looks like sprint haters are the ones who might only be getting one Sprint-free gametype. Darn.

Sprint can increase the speed of the game. Sometimes in Halo 3 I wished I could get to a destination on foot faster. Sure, you could argue “sprint can increase kill times by allowing the target to flee to cover”. But in its current form in Reach, the target loses a significant portion of his speed when he takes damage. So I don’t think thats a factor.

The things that break sprint are CQB weapons. But what CQB weapons will be in Halo 4? We don’t know yet.

Heres to wishing we had a BETA.

> Good lord these arguments are really redundant and biased. Its as if the sprint-supporters are to be condemned for supporting a somewhat decent attachement to your gameplay. Besides, aren’t those same sprint-supporters also in the mix of what Halo stands for?

> Since you know, I always envisioned Halo to be a competitive, while being a goofy, casual mess. Not saying that at all is bad, more or less hilarious.

Well, you know, you guys will have 1-3 playlists. Perfectly fine for the small group that you guys are.

Now you’re just completely wrong.

No, I’m not wrong. You lose speed when you take damage. Its only like 50% but its there. I don’t have a video reference so I guess you’ll just have to continue to call me wrong.

They’re in the minority. Therefore, if anyone is to be ‘pushed in a corner’ so to speak, it should be them.
