You might want to try this.
I always got it in the fist mission on single player. I uninstalled it from by hard drive played the fist mission and finished it. I found this error to be annoying so I am posting this hear to help some one out.
So just to give you some background I have a 250gb black slim from 2010. I have had 3 different disks giving me a unreadable error at some point in the game. Today I thought I gave everything a try, But thought why not and I uninstalled the fist disk from the hard drive and gave it a try.
So after I did that I put the game back in played the fist mission I finished the mission and got past the point near the end of it where you are running back into the air locks (that is where for me it always happened and got the error)
