Would you buy it?
I wouldn’t , why? Because I just bought the H4 Xbox lol
Edit: unless 360 games are compatible , and they can run better and look better
I would probably not buy it right away, considering the lack of games it would have UNLESS it were backwards compatible. If so, then I’d buy the new console immediately.
If there were good games it came with.
I would definitely buy it so I could stay up to date on future games
I’m on the fence due to Destiny. If Bungie comes through on that one, that’s the kind of game I’m really looking for. Plus I’m really tired of paying for games and then paying fifty a year on top of them for mic-less games and trash talking twelve year olds, when I can get that for free with Sony. It’s going to be a interesting November.

I agree 117% with you .
But I think that games like Halo 4 , GTA 5 ,etc should get an update so that they can run better on the new Xbox
Yes definitely, just give me any Halo launch game and a next gen xbox.
I’ll get it soon after release. I’m sure Destiny will be released about when the new xbox comes out, and I would much rather get it on that than on an outdated system (the 360). Along with other games of course
It depends. If it lacks backwards compatibility and focuses more on ads and services rather than the games themselves, I’m out.
Unless the 360 can garner more than 3 good exclusives (halo, gears, forza) then no. 360 was the exclusives king back in the day and Sony sucked. Now Sony is on the ball with exclusives and 360 is on the ball with 50 more video apps. I’m leaning 80% PS4 20% Xbox.
the thing about all next gen consoles, is that sooner or later you HAVE to buy one or stop gaming.
to answer the question i THINK you meant to ask “will I buy it at launch?” it depends on what launch titles it has. traditionally i wait for a second wave of hardware and/or a price drop before buying any new console. it would take a very very compelling launch title to get me to deviate from that. as things stand right now, H5 is the only thing that’d do it for me but it would require 343i to make a major fix to H4 before i would even consider it.
however if H4 isn’t fixed, I’ll be seeing you starside on a PS4.
We all have to admit that the -Yoinking!- PS4’s graphics look great , but lets wait until MS shows their new console , OMG!!
To: Sony’s -Yoink-
are you ready to get -Yoinked!-?

Good for you!
Want a biscuit?
I probably will, but after seeing all that stuff about the Playstation 4 today I want to wait until Microsoft announces their new console before deciding.
A real game changer for me would be whether or not it would support 7.1 surround sound for my headset. If not, then the next big thing in my book would be the graphics.
Halo is also one of my absolute favorite games out there, so that could really push me towards the Xbox Durango (720).
I have 360 and ps3 now and when the new Xbox releases ill buy that and ps4. I like having the best of both worlds. I play Xbox more because that’s my preference but I play playstation for uncharted, god of war and all the other good exclusives it has.
not at first, maybe after a littlewhile of it being out. it would depend on the games and it would depend on the price. i wont pay $500 for a damn thing, specially if i then have to buy a spare controller and a game and a batterypack. even if halo 5 came out on launch and the price didnt drop on the console until the next halo came out i still wouldnt spend that on it. consoles will get more and more expensive until players put thier foot down and say no. besides they would make more money if they priced it a $250 for the best version, then everybody would own one.
Not until some two plus years afer release.
The original Xbox and countless Fed Ex boxes taught me to be extremely Patient when it comes to buying Newly released consols.
I hope I, nor anyone else ever gets those headache again. Even if it launched with Halo 5 and was backwards com0patable with every xbox game EVER released, I would still wait.
On another note. This topic belongs in General Discussion.
As the moment im thinking about going to ps4 instead of the next gen xbox the exclusive for playstation are abundant. well we basically have gears and halo and halo 4 really isnt tickling my fancy…its kind of hard to decide now
I’ll trade my Halo 4 console in immediately once they announce the features and whether or not you can play 360 games on it which I would presume to be a yes.
