None of the changes truely brought any changes to damage of weapons, aside from the fact that headshot weapons can kill in one less bullet because of shield bleedthrough.
My question as stated in the title is: Can they nerf grenades?
They currently do way too much damage. I’ll be a few feet away from a grenade, have more than half shields left and still die. Since we move slower and jump way less high we can’t run from them as we could in Halo 3, and in my opinion Halo 3 had grenades right.
Or maybe we can keep the grenade damage but increase their timers?
The damage and time it takes for them to explode is fine, 343i just needs to remove movement acceleration and increase the base player speed and jump height.

Then frags are largely useless.
The radius needs reduced. Bleed through toned down. Fuse time increased. You know… like Halo 3.
One great side effect of a return to Halo 3 style frags would be me getting killed less by foolish teammates that insist on bombing me with their frags. They wouldn’t be good enough to kill me with a Halo 3 frag.

Removing movement acceleration and increasing the base movement speed is more important than changing anything with the grenades, and if they changed them like you said after making changes to the movement it would make all grenades completely useless.

This, there is no necessity to nerf frags.
Increasing movement speed, removing acceleration is far more important for making a fun and competitive experience that you wouldn’t even care about the frags. But if you still insist it would make landing a direct hit much harder, don’t take a stance on nerfing things so they’re easier. Instead make them harder to do to weed out the lesser skilled players (in that form of skill) from the higher skilled players.
I’m a grenade wizard, I’ll gladly brag about it. I’d love nothing more than making nading someone out harder to do, because it will mean if I can learn to use them extremely well over someone else THAT, is an advantage.
TLDR: A nade at your feet should hurt, planting a nade at your feet shouldn’t be easy.

i disagree. fuse time is a very large issue, currently.
its because of the fuse time that players refer to our ‘grenades’ as MINI NUKES in reach.
“CHUCK A MINI!”
“losing a 1v1 DMR battle? chuck a grenade -> get double kill”
lol.
i do agree player speed and jump height should be increased, but grenades still need the extended fuse time (and probably more bounciness) too.

no kidding. nice 100% troll statement IgotA40oz. back up your claim or your argument is invalid.
in my opinion if they only did enough damage to pop your shields i think they would be perfect. it would take 2 frags to kill someone not 1 shot from any weapon and then a frag. ever since the beta, i’ve been begging for the grenades to be nerfed, but all bungie did to them was decrease the blast radious. i think 343i should remove the bledd through on the frag. plasmas have always been stronger and i think they are just fine, bleed through and all. they just really need to nerf the frag. make it more halo 3 damage like.
