If 343 Industries left the Halo franchise, who should take over? Don’t say Bungie.(I know some will say Bungie anyway…)They were past developers. They don’t count.
The gravediggers because Halo is then death due the fact 343 is owned by Microsoft which mean there wouldnt be enough money for another title.

I would be happy if the series simply came to an end. They’ve changed so much about how the franchise plays that it barely resembles a Halo game anymore anyway. Let it die while it still retains at least a little bit of dignity.
If the franchise were to continue, I would want a developer that respects the series roots. I think it was Certain Affinity that did the multiplayer for Halo 2 Anniversary. I would be ok with them continuing the franchise, as long as they make more of what they made there. The Coalition would be another good choice because they never felt the need to modernize Gears of War.
I have to agree with Willko. If it were to continue without 343i, don’t forget about Id Software since they did a great job with Doom.
I would not be opposed to another studio being created for the sake of Halo as long as there is no association to 343i. I think a good core for a new studio would be the people behind fan made projects such as Installation 01, SPv3, Project: Contingency, and any other Halo era Bungie employee, as well as Eric Nylund for the story.
Sony! … just kidding. It’s not a very good time for gaming right now, every title that comes out, progressively, is more monetized than the previous one. Therefore, if any other company took over Halo, things probably wouldn’t change much. Especially because there’s Microsoft, as long as we are stuck with Microsoft we can’t do too much to fix.
343 can stay when they make their job so great like Tom French
