I really hope they do decide to give us back the 1-50 rank. I also hope to see non ranked play lists so everyone can be happy.
But… if halo 4 does have this rank. 343 please… make it like halo 2. No one wants to see the boring 1-50 regular old plain looking numbers like in halo 3. Let us have something cool like in halo 2. For example, each bracket of 10 ranks changed colors, added arrows on bottom or the top. Once you hit high levels you got a all types of different things. Moons, golden egg, black ring, ect. Let us have this back!!!
And please! DO NOT make it so easy to get a 50 like in halo 3… took no skill what so ever. Reminded me of call of duty rank…
Oh yeah, I wanted a 1-50 system too. I’m not too familiar with Halo 2 but I loved Halo 3 for it (Although it was only until after I saw how much more competitive it made everything). I agree with this DecepticonCobra guy though. I was really hoping that they would bring the trueskill system back with an alternative method like credits with achievments for the armor.

I don’t see how it could have taken no skill what so ever to get to 50. To get there you had to beat other 45-50s… which takes skill. If you couldn’t beat them it would be impossible to get your skill up.
How hard it is to get to 50 basically depends on how good other people are. Think about it.
I dont care about the picture or number logo, just give me a ranked system based on wins and losses.
It encourages you to play with a team, practice with a team, and work together.
If you play alone you’ll still be matched up with people the same rank, so they should be about the same skill level.

Also if you were American, you already had an advantage over everybody else from being Host/Good con nearly every game. I had to play from yellow bar American host to my 50, yet strangly when I was host American were green bar… hmmmm

I would like the 1-50 ranking system back and the achievements to unlock armor but not cR. I don’t see why people care so much about armor when you don’t even see it unless you check your service record.

Just go to ANY post on these forums and theres a complaint everywhere.
To be on topic, I would love a combo of Halo 3’s true skill system and Halo reach’s credit system. However something about reach’s system was really annoying to me, I just can’t place my finger on it.
