I have no problem with the type of gun itself and what it’s MEANT to be used for, it’s just the balancing of the gun itself. I use it all the time because the BR totally sucks, however I have gotten more into the LightRifle as of late. Trying to diversify.
It just needs a slower rate of fire, less damage, or maybe a little bit of both. A beta would be handy for that.

I agree new ideas implemented need to be tested throughly and not poorly managed. Halo 4 despreatly needed a beta and without one the results were drastic. Halo 5 better have something that the commuinty can judge and decide on. We are the consumers and deserve some input on a product we are buying.
If it becomes more powerful in H5, then I’d find it scary to me…unless they bring back dual wielding and reach armor abilities (Which would be worse)
Nightmare for today: Some noob camper dual wielding boltshots with armor lock! (I almost said armor lick XD)

I wouldn’t like but I wouldn’t complain.
As long as the BR returns with it, I’m cool with it.

I can acually visualize this. This cracked me up. On a side note dual weilding would be interesting to have back.
I like the DMR and will welcome it with open arms.

It’s proper physics really. Semi Auto has always been more accurate than Burst. If BR fails to hit 3x bullets all the time. The BR can kill a player without having the need to fire again. Because 1-2 bullets takes off the shield and the 2nd-3rd lands a kill.

Game is not about guns, its about skill and how you use a weapon.
Indifferent either but perhaps another new weapon that can DUEL-WIELD!!!
If its OP like it currently is in H4, I will be mad
If its like it is in Halo Reach, I wouldn’t care. Didn’t ever use it.
If its a balanced version, still wouldn’t care.
