I just re-watched the halo 5 trailer and noticed that when he sees the bird thing he doesent move to an attacking stance he just pulls out cortanas AI chip does he think that cortina may have been uploaded into the forerunners and does this mean that now he is joining the forunners and that is y agent lock is hunting him I am probs the last person to think of this let me know wat u think

the chief is badass, against most adversaries. With that said he is frail and childish compared to a forerunner warrior and his arsenal. Chief is great, but wouldn’t stand a chance against a war sphynx wich is what is in that trailer, theres also the assumption of him not looking for a fight with the sphynx and the sphynx not being hostile, but more like curious as its probably a self aware advanced A.I

Halo 5 cutscene slash H2A prologue. At 54 seconds, it looks like the Arbiter is examining a schematic of the “bird thing” from the reveal trailer. Given that they’re flying out to find the Chief, I’m guessing it’s a vehicle he’s using/visiting. I remember there being speculation a while back that it was a War Sphinx. In Cryptum, imprints of the minds of the Didact’s children are said to be stored within their War Sphinxes - perhaps Chief is visiting one of them?
