Halo 5: Guardians could be so much better, I feel like 343i. doesn’t use it’s full potential.
That’s where we - the Community come to play in our role to shape it into the game we want it to be.
I know alot of people have different visions on this, or maybe something they want to add.
So please tell me if you agree or disagree with some of these ideas.

Multiplayer:
The multiplayer in Halo 5 is absolutely fantastic.
One big issue to me is the Spawn system though…
I have times where I spawn and instantly get killed (happens rather often),
or I spawn in the middle of the battlefield.
I think it could use some work, maybe with a system that
can tell when a enemy is near so it spawns you to a safer area instead.
Another thing that would make Multiplayer alot more fun would be a Social playlist.
The community in general has been asking for this for a while now.
I think Halo Reach is a very good example for that. We had so many gametypes as options,
on Halo 5 however we are pretty limited and get gametypes one by one.
I see no reason why 343i. can’t give us an actual social playlist and let us decide what exactly we want to play.
Competitive is good and all but I think we all want to move away from the serious side of Halo sometimes and just play to have fun.
And also… add more Alien Maps.
The Maps in Halo 5 feel very stale, mainly because 90% is UNSC with same textures, and remixed versions of other Maps. -
UI:
The UI in Halo 5 could use alot of work. We can’t even see which Medals we earned after a Match.
Halo 4, Reach and MCC are good examples. The UI’s were pretty good actually, I don’t know why they took out so many features.
I know change needs to happen in Halo in general, but don’t just change it for the sake of change.
If something isn’t broken, don’t try to fix it.
- Forge:
Halo 5 has the best Forge for sure (atleast to me) and I don’t think it needs to change.
I do want to give some ideas though.
We all know by now we won’t see AI’s in Forge anytime soon, but with the power of scripting
the Community has done mindblowing things. Imagine what the community could do if we just had
bodies of Marines, Elites, Spartans, Forerunners and so on. With scripting we could do so much with that.
I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard for 343i. to use vehicles and weapons from older Halos and implement them to H5’s Forge.
Just give us the tools 343… that is all we want.
I know I seem like a spoiled unhappy brat because we are already getting alot for Forge, and they don’t get payed for the time they invest into it.
So a big Thank you to 343i. for that. Again, I’m not demanding anything I’m giving ideas for 343 and the Community to see.

Customization:
This is related to what I just mentioned above.
I know 343i. wants to stick to the more ‘Serious Route’ with Halo lore wise but please…
…let us play different species. Give us the tools.
The Sangheili Fanbase was very strong in reach. Taking them out was a big ‘No’ specially for Machinima.
Imagine having the option to play as Spartans, Elites, or Forerunners.
If it wouldn’t be balanced for Multiplayer then atleast give us the option to play them in Custom games.
Now I want to go into Armor. The best Armor Customization was without a doubt Halo Reach.
Since Halo 4 343i. took out more and more options.
All the things you could add to your Spartan on Reach gave it a more ‘Human’ feeling, so I think they should definitely give that a return.
I don’t think Halo should be too serious or strict. Specially not when it comes to Customization.
And please 343… let us choose our Shoulders, legs, chest etc separately.
…Cough Black undersuit.
General Ideas:
I think Halo turned out to be way too Cartoony now.
Reduced Blood, gore and swearing, so if the Flood was to ever return I wonder how 343i wants to pull it off.
I mean Halo 5 is rated T, not sure if they want it to be like that for future Halos aswell.
Halo to me was much better when there was blood, and gore… and strong language. A more realistic feel to it.
