What changes to you want made for Warzone in Halo 6?
Getting the obvious one out of the way, having a modified REQ system would be fantastic. Currently it’s either grind for weeks to unlock half the weapons or pay hundreds of dollars for them. Instead, there should just be more items included in packs. I’m level 63 and I only have a quarter of the REQs.
Even though having more maps is crucial, I’d like to see more uniqueness to each map. Maybe make the bases interact with the landscape a bit (i.e. caves in a mountain, buildings in a city, etc). Right now having garages and armories in every map isn’t making the cut.
Get rid of it for firefight
not even joking
Need more variety in the bosses and more maps. I have had it up to the back teeth with wardens. Halo 5 has been warden overkill both in campaign and warzone.

You’re right they shouldve just called it halo: warden eternal. Back on topic though the changes i would make would be to make it an actual pve game mode. I actually like warzone and the req system its just its not enough content. They think reqs are the only content we will need. This is theyre new premier game type and they only have two modes for it. Warzone assault is actually just territories with reqs. Theyre needs to be new game modes for warzone, like warzone firefight, an invasion game type, kraken battle mode, scarab battle mode. And instead of defending the same old garage and bases that have no value, how about we actually assault covenant bases, cities, and super carriers. Halo has so many options to explore and yet these devs just have the littlest of ideas. Warzone could be so much more.
I believe more ai and for the love of god firefight
Loadouts:
Replace the scaling loadout weapons with a more traditional class system and let players pick their mods for the weapon. You could give the AR an extra mod slot or something to help buff it against the precision’s.
Pick your grenade (only get 1) and maybe some kind of special ability.
Perks would ideally work like CoD:Ghosts, where you get an allotmoment of points to spend on perks with a cost. I.e, ten points to pick and choose armor mods. Better mods cost more.
Basically, let players pick roles for themselves from the offset and focus more on consumable reqs to scale throughout the match.
New Card Types:
Hacks would be cards that give you a buff for that life; maybe regenerating grenades, or a enemy meleeing you causes them knockback damage etc.
Ordinance cards would be deployable objects that help support the team: sensors that would highlight enemies within a radius, turrets etc.
Bosses 2.0:
Add a Heroic tier of bosses worth fifty points, and make legendary bosses have a secondary objective required to store the full 150; maybe 75 for the kill and 75 for delivering a dropped item to a base you control or something.
Up the count:
Ideally, get the number of players up even higher; imagine something like 32 v 32 matches with red and blue broken up into fireteams and the ability to fly around in pelicans and larger vehicles.
AI that not only drops off at various areas, but eventually takes 1 of 2-4 paths to attack a base, and then camp there. With the exeption of the bigger legendary bossses
Warzone should’ve been released separately as the F2P spin-off that it really is, and Firefight would’ve been in a superior H5. WZ has huge potential if given the resources and support to develop (something a long-lost Halo MMO didn’t get either), but while just ‘a mode’ we have a grind that was clearly designed in boardrooms rather than a studio. H6 must be a game first, and not another financial experiment by Microsoft masquerading in a Halo costume. Gr8 r8 m8 nailed it.
