Hello everyone, Wavecraft57 here. So, I have some ideas for the next update to Halo 5. I hope 343 takes these into consideration, and if they don’t see it, please share these ideas if you think they’re good.
Idea #1: More than 1 Custom Weapon Assassination (For Melee weapons like golf club, Gravity Hammer, and Energy Sword) With different ways to achieve them.
One way to achieve a specific custom assassination is by crouching while using melee from behind, that will always trigger one specific assassination.
Another way is to jump and melee quickly afterwards while your enemy is on the ground, that will also always trigger one specific (but different from the rest) assassination.
One more way to always trigger 1 in four completely custom weapon assassinations for this type is by air melee from behind while your opponent is in the air as well.
Idea #2: scripted or fixed-physics weapon machinery.
Ever wanted a gauntlet made out of SMG’s that spun up gradually like a minigun before firing a barrage of bullets? Ever wanted to break apart a weapon and make a new one out of it; say, your armor-clad fingertips having mini Energy-Sword blades, that you could hack and slash your enemies with?
Well say no more, because if this idea is shared enough to make 343 notice and find inspiration, then this dream can indeed become a reality!
Idea #3: Halo: Reach style armor making.
Me personally I loved the Halo: Reach armor system. I just couldn’t get enough of it. The shoulder section, the knee category, Bungie even went so far as to add armor effects, and death effects to be applied, even utility for your chest and wrist! Who doesn’t love it? No one doesn’t love it? Well alright then, let there be inspiration through noticed requests!
Idea #4: Custom Banshee Requisitions.
Laser beam-shooting Banshee’s anyone? Energy Missile that splits into 4 smaller missiles with small explosions and without homing capabilities? Bigger slower primary fire? Need I say more?

UPDATE: I just came up with a new game mechanic. I call it: Beat-down.
It triggers like an assassination, pressing a certain button behind the enemy.
Basically, you get into a fight with them.
You can circle around them, and get closer and further away from them.
Press Rb and Lb to throw light jabs, and Rt and Lt to throw heavy punches, and X and B to throw kicks, tap a to block, and y to finish them off with a cool combo or wrestling move (RKO anybody?) once their health is low. Even discover new finishing moves at random (not random number generation pay to win)
Also they can do the same.

Idea #5: Spartan slam/ Ground Pound Acceleration.
At the time I’m typing this, I’m making a city world in forge on Tidal, and I ground pounded from outside the boundary of the top of the map. And I am actually disappointed that there’s no further acceleration for ground pound. Maybe 343 can fix that in a new update. Spread the word, please, if you’re disappointed with it as well.
Idea #6: Melee animation combos and reduced melee damage.
Okay, this may seem like a stretch, but since I took a Tai Kwon Do class for about maybe 13 years, I love melee so much, as well as close-quarters combos and animation, so I just had to add this in. Hopefully some of you agree with me on this. Maybe we can actually make this a thing for close-quarters combat by reducing the melee damage, or even better, base the damage on how long you hold the melee button for.
