ideas for halo wars 2

With 343 saying they have no intentions on new leaders past ATN, it’s a good time to voice ideas on new ways to improve the game. As well as some old elements from Halo Wars we would like to see in HW2. I myself have some ideas for HW2 that I would like to share and please share your ideas as well.

  • A halo wars style warzone blitz game mode were its a 2v2 or 3v3 team based and objective style mode. There will be 2 main bases 1 for each team(generators that must be defended in each base), 3 garrison able bases (increases the amount of power receive per sec\ capture all three enemy base generator open to assault\ 2 turret plots cost power), HVT leader AI drops (gives power and points, varies on AI Difficulty), no more than 1 leader available per each player, no uber units, capturable choke points - Add an option to change Cutter’s hero to the ODSTs from SPEARBREAKER - New Maps as well as some old maps - Objective drops in Domination, an example being " setinal enforcers guarding High Value Resources, go take them out" or “Artifact Detected, go retrieve it before the enemy does” - Heretic/ Insurrection bases on base plots - ONI Story mission - More aesthetic references about the battle of the ark - old gameplay elements like the pop. Garrison, barrier Garrison, The Covie Tyrant cannon - Banished story involving Kissano, yapyap and colony - Add some more forerunner elements
