Alright, so we all know Halo 5 is NOT the most……well recieved Halo in the franchise. It’s Forge however, is very enjoyable once you get used to it. I’m just gonna list off a few ideas of what 343 could add to make Halo 5’s final few updates truly great.
Brute Shot
Brute Chopper
Mauler
-Focus Rifle (for the lulz)
Mini-Scarab (?)
Legendary (flaming) Warthog/Ghost/Scorpion/Wraith
Okay that gets the weapons and vehicles out of the way, here’s some armor I’d like to see:
EOD
Haunted
Katana
Deadpool (?)
Rogue (Halo 3)
Eva (Halo 3)
Prefect (Halo 4)
Locus (Halo 4/RvB)
Classic ODST with variants (Buck/Romeo/Dutch/Mickey)
Ok Forge and maps are outta the way, for the final part, my game type custom setting ideas:
Weapon Rarity Slider for Super Fiesta, i.e:
Prophet’s Bane: %100
Assault Rifle (Standard): %0
Ability to disable gamertags
Add Req Variants to spawn weapon settings
Make it so that maxing out a spawn weapons ammo in the settings actually maxes it out in all modes including Super Fiesta
Add a life counter from 1 to 10 before hitting unlimited
Add an option to be able to fire your gun/Melee while Sprinting
Well that’s about it, I know most if not everything on this list will be ignored, but the slider for super fiesta is really the only one I hope for besides disabling gamertags.
EDIT: Sorry this is actually part 3, I’ll be posting part 2 in a bit.

As a custom/casual player, these ideas are mainly to bring back some casual players, the competitve side already has far too much, we need to balance it out a good bit.

Well, Forge has a couple things that could use some ironing out, for casuals. Also, if they do add more, I’d rather see a big feature rather than a few little ones…maybe something like a “Build-a-REQ” screen.
If anything, Halo should really focus on fixing all of the bugs and server issues BEFORE adding all of this. Halo doesn’t need more content if we already have trouble trying to use the original ones. It’s a nice idea, but that shouldn’t be priority #1.
I don’t know how adding old stuff from other Halo games that we can still play solves anything. They’ve added the SPNKr, H2BR, CE Magnum, Brute Plasma Rifle, H2 Beam Rifle, etc., and yet people still seem to be sprinting
I can see some of these being possibly added to the game, but there are a few that sound a little… far-fetched.
First: the Mini-Scarab. Really, it would be kinda cool to have one, but I don’t see it being put in Halo 5. It would take a lot of work to make it and make sure that it can properly interact with its surroundings. It’s more of something that would have to be worked on during the development of the base game.
Second: Legendary Warthog/Ghost/Scorpion/Wraith. These sound cool too, but they’re not very… practical, I guess. If they’re flaming, it would be a bit hard to tell if they’re about to be turned into piles of slag. Not that big of a problem, but all the current vehicles in the game are supposed to be “actual” vehicles or prototypes (Sword Needler Warthog), so having a warthog with fire all over it wouldn’t seem very useful in a fight.
Third: the Locus helmet. Not far-fetched, but I just had to mention that it’s already in the game. I’m not sure if there’s a variant that looks like it did in Halo 4 though.
Fourth: classic ODST. Yes, it’d be cool to have it, but I don’t think it’d be very practical either. The Helljumper set is supposed to be a variant of ODST armor made specifically for Spartans, and the Nightfall set is pretty much as close to the classic as we’ll get (it’s actually a variant of ODST armor).
And finally: the Deadpool armor. Why? How would that fit into the game’s style in any way? All it would be is a bodysuit with a mask, a belt, a couple sword sheathes, and a few pouches and holsters. You’d be going into a firefight wearing the equivalent of Fallout 4’s leather armor and a jumpsuit. The Deadpool fan in me would think that’s a good idea, but everything else thinks otherwise. Sorry if I’m sounding like a male reproductive organ, but it honestly wouldn’t fit in at all.
I agree that there should be some more for the casual players, but there are some things that just wouldn’t fit in with the rest of the game.
On a different note, I would like you guys to take the time and check out my “Pick an original REQ from me” poll while you have the chance.
