ideas for Halo 5 : Guardians (43 pages)

Not a fan of ninety-nine percent of the ideas you documented in that power point slide.
Really? Spartan/grunt hybrid? Most of the ideas just seem uninspired, bland, and some down right childish even.

I can agree with you on more vehicle types, but like more than a few things you gave little to no info on “why” or “how” these things deserve to be included let alone balanced.

Your only thoughts on theater were “THEATER IN CAMPAIGN???”…

Well anyways as for the rest of things like your game type ideas I browsed them a bit but for the most part it just seems like the usual class based fluff people propose here. Which does nothing more than to take away from production time spent on better ideas 343 could implement. If you want a stronger more varied multiplayer than we need more than anything else vastly superior functions for forge and custom game creation. That which would allow you to create the custom game types never before seen.

About the theater mode , well… i dont have other ideas for this mode, i just think they should get the option back.

The grunt spartan was just an example (silly one). the porpuse was that Halsey will help the rebilion to create human tech for them.

For starters, I don’t see them bring back a Spartan grunt in any thrones… however, the idea when it comes to BTV like the Mammoth, elephant, even the shadow( very slow) coming back would be interesting. They need to build maps with bigger arrays in mind. Imagine if you would taking maps like Containment, Sand trap, Forge world(Reach), and actually making them different/ bigger and add layers to it. Layers you ask? yes, while many want the vehicles to come back create maps where you can use air vehicles and BTVs while still giving the guy who wants to walk it some leverage. How? Easy you make underground layers or paths for ground troop. Also follow up on adding Halo Wars vehicles. But think of each race. Humans, elites, brutes…

I want a map based in the city that has 4 lane highways and structures that feel real. (trains, broken cars, destroyed but there. Add some snow, make it look like a ghost town. The other idea of course is since their going to have a dedicated server actually have a space battle where you can use air vehicles. That pelican that you want to shoot things with, the hornet and the falcon. They need to bring those back. Ship to ship battles almost like Star wars Battle front 2.

Also since we are on the subject go back and look at all vehicles in general from all the halo’s. Hell, add a level where you hit the ground in a drop pod or come up with new invasion type style maps. imagine a badly damaged carrier crashed on one side of the map. Hell that’s another idea, Infinity is 3 fn miles long. We saw maybe a total of .9 cubic miles of it in halo 4? or an underground catacomb.

Beside the Spartan grunt which Ill strongly agree with BadJoker9 on, you have to use Foresight and think on how would the components act with each other. Vehicles are one thing but game types need to be address. You want something special, then Id go with head hunter, assault, Invasion and Dominion.

Sorry, I was trying to agree with FOCookie;2998911. You have some points you need to think about. Firefight isnt as hard as it use to be and Spartan ops is to bland.

If you have more ideas post them. Also Forge could be so much better.

do you have any thought about this one?

Theater will definitely be in Halo 5’s campaign as there’s much more room to do it on the Xbox One. :slight_smile:
