More helmets, and armor in general, would of course be great and I would be shocked if they didn’t expand on this anyway.
Not sure what you mean with 2 armour effects…do you want to be able to equip 2 different effects, lightning and confetti being an example of such, or do you only want those two to be in the game? Cause I would strongly prefer the former.
Forge maps with no boundaries. If they could get rid of kill zones that you can’t remove or see in forge, I would be pretty happy. This was my only real problem with the last couple of map pack. I know some parts of the maps would actually make for terrible gameplay, but it’s just for fun. I’m for super enthusiastic for placeable water, but it could be cool.
Being able to place dead bodies might be cool for a map or two, but would add nothing to gameplay and I think use up resources that could be better used for other gameplay elements.
Cracked visor I’m kinda for. I personally would like it so you can take some cosmetic damage to your visor in the form of scratches and small cracks while the shields are down, then if you survive the fight you can carry on with those as memento, until respawn wipes them clean.
More visor colors…yes please. Maybe a radial selector. You could always charge credits per individual shade.
Halo has been getting better at cut scene continuity with each iteration. I have faith the trend will continue.
Infinite items in forge is pot of gold at the end of the red and blue rainbow of halo. Tempting as it may be, the resources of the hardware ARE limited, and so must be the software that runs on it. Somewhere there has to be a limit.
Ah, have more armour abilities. That clears up point 3. Kind of.
When you say free running, I see Crysis 2. I liked that system, and we are told there will be some fairly significant gameplay changes. As long as it feels right it could work.
I would like for a soundtrack to come with a special edition or something, maybe in digital format, but I suspect that the majority of people wouldn’t appreciate it enough to put it in all copies.
I prefer placed weapons and weapon drops instead of ammo boxes. I had a reason when I started typing that but this has gone on far longer than I envisioned when I drew up my keyboard in distress and determination.
I think having an animation of your Spartan getting out of a cryo tube before ever game would get deeply irritating. Especially if you had to run through a tutorial each time too. I don’t want to invert my looking pitch to see if I like it better that way.
I don’t like the idea of evac for infection games. And I’m gonna skip, while I’m on the subject, right down a couple of points. Allowing people to kill other Spartans during infection to steal their ammo is both lame and hideous. It would be better if it would played as a team game, but I get nothing for other peoples kill or long, prosperous lives in infection games.
More invasion maps would be great, if there is invasion. There are some amazing community-made invasion maps. It’s a shame they haven’t seen the light of matchmaking.
More vehicle colours would be nice. Mongooses have a little customization in this regard, but more must be better.
Losing armour pieces during battle could look cool, though I see problems if you are playing in a space environment. Would you not be able to go into those areas? Would you decompress when armour got broken while space? Having said that, I don’t think I like the idea.
I think having longer service tags could lead to a lot of text being in your vision at once. 4 is fine with me.
And lastly, I think we will see some interesting game types in Halo 4.
