Ideas for Future Playdates

  1. Play for at least 3 hours.

  2. Play over the weekend.

  3. Play as more than one full fireteam.

This would make getting the skin a bit more fair for the rest of us, since a lot of us put effort into searching for 343i players, but didn’t get them.

Try playing halo 3 when it had “millions” playing for exclusive armor and such with a bungie group that was smaller than what 343 is. The term fair got thrown out.

i don’t see why they need to take more time out of their day for something that is supposed to be so exclusive, odds are most people will never get the chance.

Then what’s the point of teasing like that? Things like the 343i skins being leaked into the weapon skins pack is fine because it was a mistake. Recon was meant to be only for Bungie employees anyway. At least they gave more opportunities like contests and whatnot. 343i is being more lenient than Bungie, but there is still a lot of bullcrap involved.

And if they’re going to take time out of their day to set a community event, they should really execute it from the point of view of the majority fanbase rather than the casual standpoint of 1 measly hour.

I just think you’re upset you didn’t get matched with them. Just remember everyone all has the same chance of matching them as you, I didn’t even get to try as I was at work. Some will just get lucky and match them but that’s just how it goes. The only issue I’d point out is 343 rolling in teams rather than going out solo, it limits the odds even more. I only know this cuz looking at their game history you can see 343 members all in one team.

i also know bungie was a far better dev group when it came to community interactions, they had a lot more play dates with their fans which is partly why certain exclusives got passed around quicker than the pace 343 is doing at the moment.

I have no problem admitting my saltiness over getting nothing. I spent the night without sleep, excited for the event. But seriously? Only one hour? Only one fire team? That’s hardly even a playdate.
