Now don’t get me wrong here, I completely agree halo doesn’t need to copy the trend of BR, but BR is a game type, that doesn’t mean it can’t be changed. We can make it Halo, which means re-define the genre, we can come up with completely new ideas and they don’t have to be just like Fortnite or PUBG, Keep shields, Start with a weapon (BR or AR) Spawn on the map, THAT can make it different. So start with your ideas people, but make sure it doesn’t copy CoD, Battlefield V, Apex Legends, Fortnite, or PUBG, because Halo needs to stay Halo and still be innovative. Here are a few of my ideas:
The new covenant is constantly patrolling the map after five minutes of play, dropping more and more enemies till you get over run
Spawn with a choice of AR, BR, or Magnum.
KEEP SHIELDS
Maybe instead of patrolls, the flood have an outbreak and start spreading from different points of the map
Have underground places and tunnels linking to each other
Have over shields
So start thinking and we can create something amazing.
