ALL!
Because of sub-species/ phenitype reasons.
Bring em all into infinite, if not at launch, gradually.
Same for other species, weapons, vehicles and other things that have had several iterations up through the years.
Theres no perfect IMO.
Im not counting in each kind of Jiralhanaes intelligence or say the the H2 spongy endurance, since that was a mistake on Bungies part ( if they got that right, the H2 brutes might have been just as tough as the H3 ones )
The H2/A Jiralhanae brutes are seemingly the most savage, at least judging by Tartarus himself and his pack. Still kinda flatter face/ snout but very protrouding fangs and teeth.
Halo 3 Jiralhanae brutes looks to be closest to their ancestors. In Halo Legends, where you see ancient jiralhanae on their homeworld gazing toward the sky, they have those elongated snouts/ jaws too. The H3 ones seems to be more " tactical ", aware than those above, only resorting to their brutish nature for last resort.
H Reach Jiralhanae brutes seems to be a mixture of 2 and 3 with that kind of brutes favoring tattos, not the prettiest faces ( was it me but did Reach brutes and elites lack color and distinction to their models and eyes??) but they also got nice thick stripes of body fur along their backs. Didnt have as many protrouding fangs as the H2 one but fewer thicker ones like the H3.
Halo Wars 2/ Halo Infinite. Now these jiralhanae seems to be the most hmm… savage in a more tactical and strategic packacked with a sense of honor and loyality, well as can be from brutes point of view. On par with the sangheili elites honor, just more brutal and savage when needed than agile and graceful. Regarding battle atleast.
Just as flat of a face as H2, Reach but more protective lips, becasue underneath, their fangs seems to be just as savage as before. Also seems their ranking hierarchy seems to be based on that if you are a new military unit you have to have as little body hair as possible, at least facial hair. Maybe because of recognision purposes when ranking up oooor if screwing up. then the upper leaders knows you very well among phermones. The higher ups seems to be pridfully showing off grandiose facial hair and manes, with some tattos here and there too.
Each of these Jiralhanae brutes we see in the games ( and other media ). My take is that they, as us and other species have evolved out from where they live on their planet ( s ). Maybe Tartarus H2/ A brutes lived in the more northern and colder parts of Dosaik.
Maybe the Reach brutes were from tropical jungles and HW2/I brutes from savannas, mountains with grassy fields and forest, temperate zones. Just a few guesses.
