This would be like post 1001 on 1-50 ranked

Did 343i tell you something about a ranking system that I don’t know about?
Who care’s if it is post 1001 about a ranking system?
Until I get a confirmation on saying there will be one, I will continue to have faith and consider buying this game.
It’s not the ranking system itself that’s the bad idea (though 1-50 did have flaws), it’s the elitisim that ruined for the casual crowd.
It was really bad online and on b.net that if you didn’t have a 50 in MLG or Lone Wolves, you were bad and not allowed to contribute to discussions. Sure those with lower ranks are not as good but there are those (like myself) who didn’t get a 50 but understands how Halo works. The ego’s with the 50s really killed it for a lot of people and (after looking at it from another perspective) i can see why players don’t want it back.
So really, the labeling and elitism has to stop. You can shoot down arguments logically through facts and reason; not some number to be used as a crutch.
At the same time, The Arena failed, end of discussion. We need not fear to push us away from having the game have systems in place for the hardcore to improve. That’s like with Reach, shun the hardcore but reward the casuals and place emphasis on them. WRONG. SO WRONG.
Both sides are equally important to this game, lot of his tend forget we were all casuals and not god tier MM warriors back in CE. Ranking and social can exist, just like in Halo 3.
Take what didn’t work and what worked in past ranking systems, iron out the kinks and have that new ranking system kick a ton of -Yoinking!- -Yoink-.
