Im starting to grow into the Perk system. If 343 implements this right, this could be one awesome Halo game. Halo 4 could be the best of both worlds in modern day shooters. Imagine COD without perks or sprint. It would ruin the game, it just would work. Now imagine Halo with a new style to play introducing whatever this system is which is really fun and the Classic style which is really fun. Only time will tell until we get to see what this new system is…

This has to be just about the most paranoid community I’ve ever seen. Some of the users on here make us look just as bad and divided as the Sonic the Hedgehog fanbase.
I don’t care if Halo draws inspiration from another game franchise. All I care about is flowing gameplay, skill being rewarded, and not being cheated out of kills (bloom, which is gone).
343 have gone out of there way countless times to explain that the Multiplayer is designed around a competitive, and balanced playstyle. Bungie did talk a bit about balance, which they achieved with the weapons in Reach, but overall did not pay enough attention to creating a competitive gameplay.
Coming out of the outcry towards Reach, it makes sense that 343 would announce things like that.
I wouldn’t mind the idea of that, it’d be alright to have certain playlists that are designated for noobs that love their “class systems” but also keep a playlist area for the true Halo.
