An idea I have for Machinima creations is a thing I like to call Machinima Scritpting.
The idea involves having control of Avatar Spartans and scripting.
These Avatar Spartans could be customized by anything you see fit, no matter if you have unlocked it or not.
Here you could control what a Spartan does based on a time line. This is what I call Manual Scritpting.
IE: From 0 seconds to 3 Seconds one Avatar Spartan would be scripted to move west by walking. At the 5 second mark the Avatar Spartan would proceed to fire their Assault Rifle.
Another form would be Recorded Scripting. By choosing an Avatar Spartan and selecting to Record Script you could manually control the Avatar Spartan’s movements from where you started on the timeline and ending whenever you pressed the back button.
This would remove the necessity for body actors and people who have the REQs you specifically need and would make it way easier to create things you want.
Actually it would take longer seeing as you’d have to not only learn the scripts, but do each character individually, which takes a long time and isn’t that easy. Not to mention that unless you’re extremely good it will look clunky or you’ll be extremely limited. By the way, they said forge AI wont be coming in Halo 5 and they dont know if it’ll make it in Halo 6 so…
Seems a bit over-complicated to me. Ive honestly never had an issue finding people who have the armor I need for my machinima (then again I usually have my characters in Common or Uncommon armor so that might help)
