As we know in the original Halo (RTS, Pre-Xbox) Halo originally was going to be a much different series, I was looking around and noticed that in a few screen caps what is supposedly “Spartans” have machetes on their backs?
I think this could make for a cool edition to the Halo 6 armory/weapons available, it would make a great counterpart to that of the Energy Sword/Gravity hammer, if you wanted to get technical maybe a Knights Sword could be added just for the sake of the two having a Promethean variant. Whether these weapons would differ in mechanics, that would be entirely up for 343i to decide.

Gotta agree with this.
Furthermore, the UNSC already has an Energy Sword equivalent- the Shotgun.
