Like planet side 2 and 1, I think Halo should have huge maps with 32 vs. 32 and some maps including transport like pelican or falcon, hawk, and a mammoth or elephant. As for the biomes make the Mammoth be in larger areas of that one like a desert and a elephant in a smaller one like… anywhere. For air transport put it in areas at your teams spawn, like hangers and landing pads. There ya have it!
A big part of Halo is about small teams of 4v4 on appropriately sized maps. So no.
But I would like this for sForge if we don’t get a terrain editor and if we do the maximum size of a map should be huge.

whats wrong with having this idea with 4v4, i know where your comming from cos 4v4 is halo pretty much BUT some people including my self like bigger battles thas why i mainly play BTB, more enjoyable imo cos i find 4v4 too competative so i think it could work, only problem is tha mamoths are truely huge so i dunno how big your planning to have this map, id say a map a bit bigger then Forge world (all playable) which then i think we could have a pelican a team or something or at least falcons with the transport seats, mamoths area bit big i think, elephants would be alright but not mamoths

Yes, the new Forge World (if it exists) should be much bigger than the original and much more diverse.
OT: Why huge maps would hurt 4v4 gameplay-
Well, BTB is really fun and it always has been. That said, the maps in BTB were too big to fit in other playlists except for 6v6 gametypes. Luckily enough, there are plenty of medium sized maps that are intended to work in most gametypes (a bit small for BTB and a bit big for 4v4- but okay in both). Significantly increasing the size of BTB maps will completely alienate it from other playlists and would mean that it would have only two or three maps (which would be lame). Another possibility (the more likely one) is that the medium sized maps would also grow in order to fit the new BTB and would become terrible for 4v4 gameplay. Then we’d only have two or three small maps (which would be lame). There is no way to balance such a significant increasing of size without one side or the other being hurt… unless 343i intends to release a large number of maps in the game (say, 16 instead of 10). If that happens, it would work.

you need to remember though that that was on a 7 year old console, this is brand spankin new so we could probs have twice the amount of maps as on the 360 so it is very possible to have 5 huge maps, 5 small maps, 5 medium/large maps on release and then DLC to go with that when it comes!! so it is very possible
IMO Halo’s multiplayer needs to change more into Battlefields style of multiplayer. So large open maps would be a yes from me

What?
Back on topic, given how Xbone and PS4 have similar spec and the PS4 is getting Planetside 2 (with graphics on par with ultra settings on a PC) I think it’s perfectly reasonably that the Xbone can handle this kind of game-type so YES FROM ME!!!
BUT I think it would be better if the maps where smaller, bigger than forge world but not to big. Mostly because a map that big is built for 1000s of players and would be pretty boring with just 64 players.
