I really like the movement formula for halo as of the past titles (not ncluding AA’a). Though i must wonder how the game would be if there where mechanics involving slideing/ lazy vaults/grabing ledges? (crysis and bf3 come to mind)
sliding= lets say your running then hold crouch after sprinting, instead of abruptly crouching and slowing down you will slide on your back and go into crouch afterwords example
I almost decided not to ask because i guess that’s really too realistic but oh well.

Sliding is when you’re sprinting and then you slide too a stop(not standing), lazy vault is when you basically jump over something about waist high while moving and use your hands to push you over the obstacle and the ledge grab is self explanatory.
But I don’t feel that these would be needed in a Halo game because the movement system is pretty good how it is.
Sliding would be a nice way to replace OP’d evade. Ledge grab could replace jetpack but either way I would never want that. Just like Jetpack it would destroy map flow. Their would be no point of using stairs if you could climb everything.
Hmm, well I absolutely loved being able to do all this stuff in Crysis 2 and could see it potentially working well in Halo as long as it’s implemented properly. It would add something new and fresh to the franchise, something we desperately need.

No ledge-grabbing. How can even you consider saying good bye to:
