now I know this is a rip off of titanfall but say at the end of a match the team who lost has to make it back to the pelicans they came in back at base. The Spartans who escape get 1000 points to their rank and the wining Spartans who kill the escaping Spartans get 2000 points extra to their rank but if the wining team destroy the enemy core it turns into a hunt the wining can spawn back in but the enemy team can’t. The wining team marines go out of the bases and join Spartans on the hunt. Good idea or not?
I’m not sure that would go over well in Halo. I wouldn’t really want to see it tbh. But that’s a pretty fresh idea, Irish Knifer6. Kudos for that
that would be fun i love titanfall almost as much as halo, titanfalls multiplayer is AMAZING all i play on it is attrition lol but its still -Yoinking!- awesome
hopefully 343 see’s this idea and could make it in the game its still early or make it later on in the year?
I doubt this idea would be considered. Its not that it doesn’t sound fun…But when you’ve lost a game the goal is to get into another game. Not keep playing for some extra points. Also I doubt the AI could be coded to go hunt down enemy players.
It’s a really fun mechanic in Titanfall, but 1) it would be as obvious a rip-off as it gets, and 2) not sure what it really adds to the experience. The games will be long enough, I think this mechanic would simply serve to frustrate more than it would add.
Maybe for another level instead of coming in on pelicans. We drop in ODST pods. That’d be fan service for Halo 2, and ODST
Hmm. I actually cant argue with that idea.

Raid on Apex 7 is sure to be pelicans, as it is spiritual to the Silent Cartographer…
In terms of this idea, what your saying is the winning team is to hunt down any surviving Spartans, whilst they attempt to escape. They are in “last stand” mode with no re-spawns, possibly a temporary overshield and must attempt to reach their pelican in time? I’d say this is not necessarily a great idea… this would prolong a already 25 minute match with unnecessary play, we already have a winning team and a losing team, the core acts as a instant victory if your opposing team is not equal in skill and to speed the match up. I will say however, that a last stand mode for attacks on homebase and the core, during the match, would be welcomed to allow better defending opportunities.

I love this idea! I don’t think they could work that into the “lore” because we are playing as Spartans and not ODST… but I would love one of the maps to have us in a big drop ship and comes skyrocketing down from ODST pods! (Sort of like the best cinematic in H2A on the level Delta Halo!!!)
That would be an epic intro! Common 343 make it happen to one map!
Actually I don’t mind to see it, even would be fun

…uh. I don’t think Warzone has ‘points’ in the terms you’re using bud. And in that case, I really don’t like the idea all around. The Warzone game is already going to be 20 minutes, or was it 22 minutes long? They said they would try to make sure it’s about that long, so another minute or more is going to make the game even LONGER, I just can’t in good conscious vote for that, man.

the ai arent coded to do that in multiplayer on titanfall there code is the same all the way through the match

25? i thought it was 15 minutes well whatever 25 minutes is better
I’d love to see something like this added to Warzone. My favorite moment of a Titanfall match is becoming the hunter or hunted as everyone races to the evac ship to board, or destroy. I just don’t know how well it would work in Halo. Dominion has something similar where if all bases were captured by one team, the other gained overshields and had one life. If they all died the game lost but they could save themselves by capturing a base again. Now that was a fun feature.

I’m quite sure the match time, point goals, and target point values are still being tweaked. 343i will have their hands full with these values until the game goes gold. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a small (or part of a large) day 1 patch that alters these values because it’s going to be difficult to balance against Energy levels and potential REQ cards.
The match time and REQ powerups will be increased from the convention floor times, which have been exponentially sped up for their enjoyment and quick rotation of fans. Roughly about 20+ minutes and a lot longer to receive level ups and power for REQs…
Ehhh idk OP
