So, my idea would (i think) placate both fans of 1-50 and trueskill. it is really simple.
-Revamp Trueskill so that it works better for matching people with close skill-levels. use this system primarily for social games.
-the 1-50 system would be for ranked games, obviously. trueskill would help play a part in deciding matchups in specific ranks, because not everyone that is a 40 per se is the same. some are much better in team-oriented strategies, and they would be matched up with other teams with the same mindset.
what do you think?
In Halo 3 you could be a 50 in like what 20 games i think?(correct me if i’m wrong) where i believe in Halo 2 it was quite more complicated so which system are you using Halo 2 or 3?

somewhere in the middle.
in halo 3, if you didn’t hit a 50 quickly it continued to get more difficult. oddly enough…
in halo 2, it was a 3 game swing. so lets say that you just got a level 10, you would have to net 3 game wins to progress to 11. i got to level 42 once…but that is as high as i could get…friggin impossible.
i would like to see some of the difficulty of 2, compared to 3. it was simple, yet very effective.
