Requiem Map Pack. Every map in Spartan Ops (discounting the ones that are already in multiplayer like Complex and Ragnarok) that is based on Requiem configured to be used in War Games/Customs and Forge. As is, those maps are simply gathering [digital] dust on a hard drive somewhere. Possibly release two map packs: Requiem Map Pack 1 [Quarry, Sniper Alley, Fortress, The Refuge, The Cauldron, The Gate] and Requiem Map Pack 2 [Lockup, Control, Warrens, Harvester, Apex] for Season 1.0 and 1.5.
Each map pack could be priced at 700MSP-ish (due to five/six maps in two Map Packs) or 400MSP (for 3 maps in 4 Map Packs). My reasoning for setting the price so low was because technically we’ve already paid for these maps (RMP1.0 maps came with the game). RMP1.5 could be a bit more expensive due to the second half of SpOps S1 being DLC.
Forge palettes have the default stuff (weapons, ordinance, vehicles) along with the map-specific items (Quarry’s UNSC bases, Cauldron shield walls, Warrens hardlight bridges, that floating ball in The Refuge, etc.). On bigger maps like Quarry, Warrens and Apex (esp. Apex) allow construction of structures like bases and other large buildings (ex. Forge Island’s structure palettes).
Would this be a good [acceptable] idea for a potential DLC pack?
there is 1 point you have forgot and not think about it.
and that is the dlc map problem that is starting on the playlist.
so long that problem is not been fix on the playlist then there is no point in my eye’s to release a new dlc pack again.
also if players pay for a new dlc pack there wane play on it.
and for the record i have all 4 dlc map packs.
PS. my English is what bad. i hope you understand what i wrote.

Your English is fine. And I agree with what you said. No point in having even more maps we can’t play when we want to.
The rotation of the DLC map slot is just stupid - why would anyone buy a product that we can’t play except at the “whim” of 343?
Agree x1000, would love to get more DLC but sadly, I don’t think it’s going to happen (and not just because of the playlist rotation issue- why can’t we at LEAST have one more in addition to the Champions Bundle atm??)
The rotation should restart this coming week, starting with Castle (because its had the longest absence, followed by Majestic, and then Crimson). Oh, and keep Champions , obviously, but make it so Vertigo comes up more than every 4th game or so (some of us want to play BOTH of the maps we payed for…not saying pitfall isn’t great but c’mon…)
I had the Spartan ops maps in mp idea once. I think it should be implemented like this: Just convert the maps for use in MP, and then throw things like doors, walls and additional scenery in as forge items. Let the forge community create the play spaces. This would free up staff resources for properly new DLC, or Halo 5, and hopefully bring the cost down.
I have always been tugging at the hope for Spartan Ops-specific mission maps to be available to download as multiplayer maps. Many of these maps (or sections of maps) have great qualities that may allow them to excel at certain multiplayer playlists.
The maps and layouts are already there, they just need to be edited and have some parts segmented off to be compatible for use in Multiplayer. Bungie gave us Cold Storage which was a free map in Halo 3, which was a generous gift, and it would be awesome if 343i spent some time to go over some of the Spartan Ops maps and make them viable for online play. The only reason I am against paying for maps is that 1. it segments the online community (which is already quite small) and 2. it’s too late to charge for more paid DLC.
If it was free all of the remaining players would have access to it and it might even bring back some players who left. Nothing is more enticing than “Free DLC”, and they have a lot of content to work with by using the Spartan Ops maps. It’s a long shot and I’ve posted this before but who knows, it might happen.
By not using the maps for competitive MP I see wasted potential, which is a shame, really.
